    nothing wrong with that
so who is Alexander fighting again? and there is no such thing as back to back tune ups especially wen your 38 and think you beat a "fighter of the decade". did B-hop need a tune-up for Dawson?

okay, and why should Marquez fight Rios?.... what does Marquez get out of it? other than another tough fight?
        Because the fight is exciting...?

I dont give a damn what Marquez wants, Im not his manager. Im a boxing fan, and Id rather see him fight Rios than these strange mediocre Fedchenko's that have been in hiding, waiting for a freebie fight like this.

and a win over Rios certainly means more than a win over someone like Fedchenko.

If you have a 'title', even if its a fluff one, you should be fighting ranked or respected fighters, period.

According to Marquez and his fans, he got robbed THREE times. Imagine telling the cops that your house got robbed three times. They'd look at you like you're a ****ing idiot.

Pacquiao-Marquez IV is pointless. The older both fighters get, the more technical the fight. Hence, the more boring.

one of the highest paydays of an aging fighters career isn't pointless

....Rios isn't ranked or respected, he lost and got humiliated in his last fight.

@ fans shitting on the katsidis fight but still asking him to fight an unskilled face first brawler that isn't ranked and is coming off a schooling.

JMM calling it like it is I want another easy fight b4 Pacq which is fine if he chooses so just don't expect the masses to pay or care

None of the mentioned fighters are creditable opponents other than Rios if you're talking ppv bcse it will make for the best action and is the only proven commodity

Since I enjoy technical boxing, I really don't care who Marquez fights because whoever Marquez fights, it's going to be a technical fight.

But I do wish there was some sort of regulation of opponents in boxing. Most of the high popularity tier sports, soccer, football, baseball etc, know who they're playing a month from now or know who the next 5 opponents are going to be. Boxers and boxing fans have no idea who the next opponent is going to be until they step into the ring. I know its a nightmare between sanctioning bodies, managers/promoters, the sheer number of boxers, as well as sliding up and down weight, but I think if they can come up with some sort of schedule a lot of fan unhappiness will go away.

please, I wouldnt consider Marquez ranked at 140, his win over Fedchenko is meaningless.

and Im not sure what point youre trying to make. Katsidis fits the definition of 'face first, unskilled brawler' even worse than Rios and still gave Marquez hell, and Marquez is just getting older. The fight is quite winnable for Rios, especially without the weight drain.

And if he fights another ranked guy, thats just fine, but give me a break. A fight with Rios is substantially better than a win over fodder like Fedchenko, not only from a fans standpoint but from a legitimate fight point of view.

yea he should just stop, Pacq already outboxed him at his own game. not to mention what Mayweather did to him. he should just call it a career and move on with his life.

                      Yup.

He is not looking to land a mark on the 140 Ib division. Only looking for easy southpaws, in preparations for another Manny rematch.

I am not sure any of us would like a rematch with Manny.

Personally, I would love to seem him take on Danny Garcia.
