Marquez is almost 40 and he just went up 2 weight classes to fight the
    # 1 P4P Fighter of the Decade.

He can do and fight who ever the hell he wants....

He knows the drill, he'll probably beat him but just get robbed again.
He would also get robbed against Rios. If I was Marquez I'd seek a fight with Guerrero (Though I think he has moved up to welterweight?) or García.

Marquez ain't ******, he already avoided Guerrero twice. Robert gave up chasing the cat cuz he knows JMM wants nothing to do with him.

Why wouldnt you want to see Marquez against Rios? I dont think Rios is a special fighter by any means, but the guy can be pretty damn exciting.

And 'not on his level'? I hate to break it to you guys, but Marquez is fading real fast. Katsidis put Marquez through hell, and Katsidis probably isnt any better than Rios...not to mention Rios is bigger and stronger, and that his lesser performances recently may have been because of him trying to make 135, which very clearly he cannot do anymore.

Im not exactly demanding that the fight should happen, but hell yes I would want to watch it, and its a legitimate fight by all means. Its not like Marquez has some amazing win at 140 with his win over Fedchenko.

no your ******ity hurts..... Marquez is obviously too small for Welterweight and you're asking him to fight senchenko who's actually fighting today and guy that just fought above the Junior Middleweight limit.

okay, and why should Marquez fight Rios?.... what does Marquez get out of it? other than another tough fight?

I can already see people discrediting Marquez after he beats Rios. Rios needs to redeem himself first.

IMO he's already planning to fight the winner of Khan-Peterson.
