You speak with so much certainty I must wonder how you are able to look into the future there bud. I didn't mean it would play out similar to this fight (although Ward does remind me an awful lot of Hopkins), I meant that this fight would be anti climatic with little action. Lots of clinching as well and fought at a slow pace with occasional exchanges.

Then match up the winners. If its Ward and Bute, which I think it will be. The fights much bigger than it would have been if they fought this year for the super middleweight strap.
oh for sure, if things went the way you just said that fight would be huge. lots of things can happen, but let's hope it goes this way, haha.

Ward gets knock out or will this fight take place in Oakland where hugging and head butting is fair game only for Ward though

of course ward would jump all over this...it gave him a way out of a fall fight with bute (providing he beat froch)

this is similar to hopkins steering clear of dawson some time back, but when pascal called him out, hopkins decided he was ready to fight. of course the dawon fight has happened for hopkins now, and we can see why he wanted to avoid it back then- a bad style match-up

for ward, bute is a real threat. a devastating puncher who can do it in close- just look at the kos by body shot, bute has an awkward sytle can fights with a lot of confidence. chad dawson doesn't really have power, can't fight in the inside, and seems to be weak mentally.

i'm sure americans will get behind this fight and at least it is two titleholders in their prime.

Ward reminds you of Hopkins?? Lol put on the red nose and oversized shoes ya dope, no where near...also u bute **** riders need to settle down, seriously let the man get through a real fighter first ...Dawson barely won the last judge was the right judge 114-114...that's the truth, even I don't like it but it's the truth, chad Dawson couldn't beat pascal and he never will beat a ward, froch, or bute

Dawson's called Ward out. Ward isn't ready to move upto 174 so if Dawson wants it he can have it at 168.

If it was the other way around I'd expect him to move upto 174.

Gives Dawson an opportunity to win another strap at another weight and he said he can make 168.

This would be a real chess match but I think Ward overall has more in his locker, but it would be real close I think.

Not one for the blood and guts fans but for those that really understand the sport and tactical side of it - it'll be a very enjoyable and interesting match up with two of the best technical fighters in the sport today.

Unless the fight is at 175 i'm not interested. If Dawson could make 168 he wouldn't have moved up in the first place.
