All 20 guys he defended his tittle against over 10 years were weak? Since he ducked no 160 lb challenger that must be the weakest era in middleweight history. I think its more a case of Hopkins being so good he made his challengers look bad and he ruined them. If you study the guys he defended the tittle against they were not weak in my opinion. Some of them were undefeated and all of them were rated in the top 5 middleweights when he fought them.

Here is the record of some of the guys Hopkins defended his 160lb tittle against at the time he fought them. Trinidad 40 and 0, Joe Lipsey 25 and 0, Glen Johnson 32 and 0,John Jackson 35 and 2, Keith Holmes 36 and 2, and Howard Eastman, 40 and 1. That is a combined record of 208 wins and 5 losses. Pretty damn good I'd say. Not so weak.

          All-Time.

No order: Ali, Leonard, Robinson, Johnson, Pep, Greb, Armstrong, Tunney, Louis, Langford.

If were going by recent era's (everything since Leonard's era I'd say), it's probably Pacquiao, Mayweather, De La Hoya, Hopkins, Jones, Whitaker (era right after Leonard's), etc.

I find it funny people say "Well Pac has to be on there for going through multiple weight classes and fighting champions", and than refuse to say the same about Mayweather. Keep it 100.

All-Time though: Ali, Leonard, Robinson, Pep, Greb, Amrstrong, Tunney, Johnson, Louis, and Langford are my Top 10 no order.

Johnson doesn't belong anywhere near Top 10 P4P IMO. He's lucky to be a Top 10 HW. I understand that opinion is unpopular but no-one has given me an argument to make me think otherwise.

Right, I present the case for the top 10 being:
                (In no order)

                Greb
                Ali
                Robinson
                McLarnin
                Canzoneri
                Hopkins
                Leonard
Tunney (Greb, Dempsey, Carperntier, 1 loss...)
                Langford
                Charles

I think Jones is a more talented fighter but Hopkins edges him resume-wise because of all the records he has broken.

Roy Jones broke a fair few himself. First Middleweight champion to win the Heavyweight title since ol' Fitz.
