Come to think of it, Lennox had quite a career also.

But Leonard has Prime Benítez, Hearns, Duran, and Hagler notched. Those 4 guys were phenomenal. Imagine if he had fought and defeated Pryor.

in my generation & i am mostly a heavyweight fan so i will choose lennox lewis. he fought everyone except bowe. he beat them all too. i will only comment on my generation because before my time i didn't watch or know all the contenders & gatekeepers.

Oh our generation? I got to go with Hopkins:

          De La hoya
          Trinidad
          Wright
          Tarver
          Pavlik

          And 20 title defenses

              OK Larry

Greb beat 21 Hall of Famers including Gene Tunney and Tommy Loughran (underrated ATG)

                I agree with Hopkins.

I like DLH but I disagree. He lost a lot of big fights. And even if you eliminate the Trinidad loss, you'd still have to add the Sturm loss then.

Hopkins one the otherhand did beat a lot of guys, and his 5 losses, 3 of those were close but I did think he lost those fights.
well im judging by who they fought not who they beat. i give delahoya more respect for fighting everybody then calzaghe who was undefeated but fought mostly nobodies. even if you beat good fighters but didnt fight everyone you kinda cheated because styles make fights. just because you beat 1 guy doesn't mean you beat another even if hes considered worse.

they both fought everybody. you saying they didnt? fighting the best win or lose is what makes a resume. who cares about being undefeated if you didnt fight the best available. why dont you post your own opinion anyway instead of worrying about mine. get off my ****.

he is definitely fighting everyone available. thats how i know mayweather is ducking the fight. his actions tell the story. hes never consistently gone after the best available. Hes fought some good ones but there is always bs retirement tune ups vacation in between.

this question is best for the Boxing history section though
