how can anyone take a guy serious that actually believes pacquiao deserves more

Manny's words to Floyd over their phone conversation.
"50/50 and you can have everything you want."

Unfortunately, the first half of that statement killed whatever the second half would have been.

Since floyd is the slightly larger draw, and historically the larger draw, regardless of gap, sets the terms, IMO floyd should get to make terms.

Of course they should be reasonable. SInce manny has turned down both the fair and the unfair, they should be able to meet in the middle somewhere between $40 mil no ppv and 50/50.

I think manny can take less to make fight happen like floyd did ODH.
        just answer the question pal.

pac wants 50/50 which 99% of people think is fair.

floyd wants to fob him off with 40 dabs. if he isnt prepared to negotiate the financial side of it, how the hell can he want the fight?

you keep mentioning floyd de la hoya. floyd wasnt doing similar numbers to de la hoya.

        • why does everybody still keep talking about this fight,it aint ever happening period if either were willing to fight each other then they would not find it hard to come up with a deal for either guy and agree upon everything

If he was then he'd have outsold floyd with common opponents. The only time he did, was JMM 3, in which JMM got more exsposure after fighting floyd.

I think whats telling is Bob and Manny willingness to accept 50/50. Bob has never done this in my lifetime watching boxing when his guy is the larger star. Manny almost pulled out of the Hatton fight until he got more.

I think they know the data and they know manny is entitled to less. How much, I don't know. But manny getting 50% is a gift for him, else Bob wouldn't so eagerly want it.

Pac has beaten Floyd in the PPV battle in their last three fights, homey. Pac is the real superstar, not Floyd. Truth hurts, I know.

The bolded part (i.e. $65 million for the Shane fight)...

Letsgobrady gave a more believable figure of $40m, but I hope it's not just Floyd saying it.

His unwillingness to negotiate has nothing to do with wanting the fight but everything to do with wanting the fight on his terms. I mention floyd ODH and see underlined in my sig.

Manny, IMO, can give into floyd's every point if he wants to get into the ring with him, just like floyd did ODH.

                    Pac doesn't deserve more, it's a 50/50 fight.

so why would floyd call pac and offer pac a flat $40mil then? if bob calls the shot shouldnt floyd be calling bob instead?? or is all this just a stunt to make it seem like he "want" this fight?
