there were negotiation problems with manny and oscar to because manny wanted a bigger % and there was also problems with the cotto negotiations oover the catchweight and wheter or not the tittle would be on the lineComment

When Pac accepted ALL THE TESTING demands, it was based on the already agreed 50-50 and then Floyd backed out of the 50-50. Both guys have an ego but Floyd's is WAY bigger. He cannot stand to not be in control. He will never compromise on yet another goal post.Comment

You didn't answer the question of why the terms were made in the first place... there's a very thin line between fair and ****** terms when it comes from Mayweather's PR (it's more ****** than fair).Comment

floyd said back in 2010 that there would be no 50/50 after team pac walked away from the 50/50 14 day cut off offer to go fight clotteyComment

Arum is not the only one who negotiates for Top Rank. Hint: A manager at Top Rank. Floyd did not call either.Originally posted by Edubbs216I can't answer that but I can say that Floyd has the right to negotiate on his behalf and Pacquioa does not. Bob Arum negotiates on behalf of Pacquioa but incase you didnt know, Floyd and Arum don't do business together so maybe that's why he called Pacquioa because his business relationship with Bob Arum is non existentComment

even tho he isnt prepared to budge from 40 mil?Floyd, yes. Obviously he wants the fight on his terms. Now we can agree floyd has an elevated sense of self. That said, in principle, I see no reason why he shouldn't set terms. But he seems to be trying to recoup what he lost when the ODH fight sold so well. He needs to let that go if he is in fact doing that.Comment
