Top Ten Heavyweights: 6ft and Under.

With the day of the giant Heavyweights where 6'3" is considered small, it seems unlikely that we will go back to a days when a man under 6ft would rule the roost again in the top weight division in boxing.

With that said I thought I would post my top 10 Heavyweights that are 6ft and under.

    1: Joe Frazier
    2: Rocky Marciano
    3: Mike Tyson
    4: Gene Tunney
    5: Floyd Patterson
    6: Sam Langford
    7: Archie Moore
    8: Jersey Joe Walcott
    9: Ezzard Charles
    10:

Need one more boxer to complete my list anyone have any nominations.

          Over 6 ft. Usually listed between 6' 1 1/2" and 6' 2 1/2", everywhere except boxrec.

Well since he has an open 10th spot. But if not, who on that list would you replace?

Just have Liston as part of the top 10, listed as 6ft 1/2.

I would replace Archie Moore cause Moore did poorly in his heavyweight title fights against Ali and Marciano. And didnt Floyd Patterson stop him also?
I dont think Archie Moore would beat Chris Byrd

Btw Tyson and Frazier would beat all the others on that list pretty easily. Reason: size difference. All those guys on the list are around 180-190 pounds, but Tyson and Frazier are over 220 pounds.

The fact that Tyson, Frazier and Marciano have been voted as the top 3 is pretty disgraceful. Sam Langford and Ezzard Charles have been shown no love, I honestly can't believe it. If this poll were in the history section the results would be so different lol.

                    TS: great idea
