You just whine and complain like the rest of the Hatton fans that are still bitter about Hatton getting stopped. Get over it, bro.
Lol, at you thinking you know something about me. I'm also glad to hear you don't exaggerate on anything. If so, you are probably the only person to do so. the point was made that Floyd used illegal tactics and the ref allowed it and also allowed him to fight exactly as he wanted to. It's a known thing that Cortez rolled like that and even moreso after the Ortiz fiasco.

Oh and I'm well over a fight that happened 4+ years ago Floyd fan.

I'm glad you idolize a racist street thug that happens to be a multi-millionaire.
It says a lot about you.

I was just telling you why nobody made a big deal about that one. I didn't even see that fight and couldn't care less about it.

If you didn't see flaws in the ref job in the Mayweather-Hatton fight, you don't know enough about the sport to be posting on here, much less debating with me.

        That's a terrible analogy.

        • oh awesome, it would be nice if boxingscene would give the person who asked that question credit, oh wait that was me.

I always thought Mayweather would say castillo was his toughest opponent.

I saw the fight when it happened and was very surprised to see Mayweather actually fighting. Until then I'd seen him only is very low quality boring, safety first fights. But in this one, he was being actively and skillfully attacked and had to either run or trade back, which is what he did. It was his best fight as far as I'm concerned. Augustus gave as good as he got and forced Mayweather to give ground often. Under different management and training, he could have been a world champ. I've always said this, and, to clear up any misconstructions, Mayweather has always said with no hesitation, almost from the time of that fight, that it was his toughest fight.

And as someone has said, closest doesn't mean toughest-I believe, along with all the experts, that Mayeather lost the first Castillo fight. Although it's scored by rounds, and compubox isn't everything, yet the Castillo figures were about double those of Mayweather who was mainly trying to defend against relentless pursuit. Perhaps if I have another look I might change my mind, but, other than the Augustus fight, I never replay them. Too many good fights out there to look at.

There is no chance he is lying to avoid bringing up the fight many think he lost?
