So, why would he not give Castillo any props for probably beating him while saying a fight that wasn't even close was his hardest fight? Agustus-Burton is black, that's why. Floyd's a racist, get over it. Just because he says he isn't doesn't mean it's true moron. I'll leave you on ignore this time. Bye.

What does giving a rematch prove? That the first was tough and close, OK. But a rematch doesn't mean that was said persons toughest fight. Who dismissed Castillo?
I just don't understand how the person who actually fought the fights states what he knows and you state what you think and you feel what you saying is fact? That doesn't make sense. PBF vs Castillo were great fights that doesn't mean that PBF should feel that is his toughest fight.
For f***'s sake, it's not hard to understand.Comment

The same reason Morales would never admit he lost the first fight to Barrera. The same reason Pacquiao makes so many excuses when he doesn't look great or loses. The same reason Sugar Ray Leonard is the only fighter I heard of that ever came out and said, "You know, I admit the other guy should have won," when talking about the Hearns rematch. PRIDE AND EGO.

floyd just contradicted his bf ellerbe...having augustus as your toughest fight is far from being the greatest fighter of all time.Comment

Time for some more schooling, listen up folks:
I got a very good laugh at all of the posters saying things like "how can you say what his toughest fight is when Floyd said Augustus was?"
Using this faulty logic one could say "how can you say Rios lost the fight against Abril when he was the one fighting and said he won?". ya i know, you guys are starting to think "damn using this simple analogy I see your point (ughhh)"
Fighters like Floyd have other-worldly egos. When a potentially damaging blow to an ego (ex/ a controversial win over Castillo) is present, fighters will distract from this by playing up the "toughness" of another fight in which he won easily.
No doubt he would have beast Castillo easier in 1st fight if he wasn't injured, he showed us that in the rematch. that does NOT mean that the first fight wasn't his toughest when to anyone with 2 eyes and a competent working brain it wasComment

Anyone who's seen all of Floyd's fights knows that his fight with Augustus was his toughest. That's the only fight where Floyd got his nose broken.Comment
