Because if he drops Castillo name it will resurface that fight and bring to the memory of many people that it was by far his toughest fight.

It is easy for him to say Augustus was his toughest because he won by a landslide on the cards, and no one would suggest he didn't win that fight.
You can have your opinion and PBF can have his facts. You didn't fight those fights he did. So no matter what you say was his toughest fight I will go with the guy who actually got in the ring and fought.

I think that is awesome he still gives Augustus that shout out. I remembering reading this a few years ago- glad he still stands by the statement.

While I think Castillo was obviously Floyd's toughest fight- Augustus is such an awesome and entertaining fighter and deserves the recognition. I heard there was going to be a movie about him called 'the journeyman' but I haven't checked up on that in a long time.

Augustus has a ton of losses because he's so unorthodox and from a judges perspective- probably very easy to dislike. But he is a legit warrior and always brings a fight. Haven't seen him on TV in a long time, I know he did a lot of fighting in Australia with the usual mixed bag of results.

Not necessarily, but he sure didn't do him any favors. Cortez is always garbage and that was his worst performance. I thought this was common knowledge.

Thank you very much. I thought everyone knew Ricky got jobbed badly in that fight.

Yea, Cortez shouldn't have push him into that ring post. I agree with you on that. I will say that.

anyway Mayweather has said things in the past about Corely hitting him hardest, Hatton's being the bravest and now Augustus but never does he mention Castillo 1

So why didn't Castillo get it right in the rematch?

Jones got the nod against Tarver and got KO'd in the rematch. Pwill got the nod against Martinez and he got starched in the rematch. How come Mayweather didn't get starched in the rematch if he supposedly lost the initial fight?

People conveniently forget that he tore a rotator cuff in training camp for the first Castillo fight and still beat him. It's pathetic, let it go. If you're a legitimate fan of the sport, you could see that Mayweather struggled the most (really, the only time) when he fought Burton.

if you really are a boxing fan,not you sepcifically but in general, you have to come to grips when someone you like gets outclassed and toyed with by a fighter you hate.
