A bigger name doesn't necessarily have to be your toughest fight, Your toughest fight could be your first pro fight, Or one of your amateur rival fight, people are just ******ed talking about ego and stuff because he didn't mention Castillo, He didn't get damage in the Castillo fight, He was able to run, move around and avoid contact in that fight.

I don't doubt Mayweather thinks its his toughest fight, one of the very few times that he went to war like he did with Augustus but that was because (imo) didn't respect Augustus power.

Do u think it was a conicidence that early in his career he had a reputation as a slow starter? Even though he was throwing 100 punches a rd. When u call somebody a dumbass, please bring more than 2 sentences, (that actually proves my point) as a rebuttal... if your point is he fought the same way after he got caught cheating, my point is after 8 years of CHEATING and not getting caught, its the only way he knew how to fight. In his fights against mosely, pacquaio, and cotto2, I didn't see him win a rd in any of those fights...

Anyone who has seen all of Floyd's fights, start to finish, some more than two or three times can tell you his HARDEST (not closest) fight was against Augustus. It was a combination of factors. He was fighting a hardened and conditioned veteran as a young fighter who was previously active, but had come off a long layoff. If you actually watch it you will see Floyd get hit quite a bit, and you will also see him more fatigued, probably than he has ever been in any other fight, and more uncomfortable than he has probably been in any fight.
The losers on here have no ****ing clue, and i mean zero clue when they say Castillo was Floyd's toughest fight. That was not a physical, brutal, tough encounter. It was a close tactical match where Floyd clearly won most of the early rounds, but Castillo was able to close the gap and get to his body in the middle and later rounds. It was NOT a brutal or physically taxing fight!!!!! It was a fight that was very very close, but that wasn't reflected in the cards...unfortunately, as the judges decided they preferred Mayweather's consistent jab and disregarded alot of the excellent body work Castillo was doing.
Here is a tactical shift in Mayweather's plan, on instruction from Roger, who rightly recognised the fight was close. He tells Floyd to get in th pocket and stand his ground.
If you look at this round especially at the two minute mark of round 11, you can see Floyd still has plenty of energy and crispness and power in his shots in round 11. He isn't fatigued or battered, and you guys call his most PHYSICALLY taxing fight??? You should all watch the second half of round 11 and witness just how good both of these guys are/were inside....this get's lost because of the controversy of the fight. Watch with 1:20 left in the round. Floyd get's in the pocket, Castillo is landing consistently, but look (and listen) at the crispness at 1:15 from Floyd. Look at the speed, and accuracy at the 33 second mark......a fighter in his toughest fight ever cannot do that in round 11.
This is the best boxing site on the web, but it's major letdown is the ******s who regurgitate a popular viewpoint about past fights when they haven't taken the time to watch them so they have no ****ing idea what they are on about. A close fight, no doubt....whether you scored it for Floyd or Castillo, it doesn't change the fact that it wasn't Floyd's toughest fight.
