I'd love to see both. Broner-Gamboa should be a given, maybe Gamboa would actually show up for a press conference for that fight. Can't see Dirrell-Martinez happening though.

Broner idolizes Floyd and Floyd wants to see him get destroyed by Gamboa, that's brutal. But I agree, that those two could be a good fight in years to come after Broner proved himself a little bit more.

Same for Dirrell-Martinez. If Dirrell comes back and has 2 or 3 fights, he should be ready for that and he'd have good chances. People seem to totally underestimate him and his skills, just because the Abraham-fight ended in a farce.

Even Arum wanted to wait a year or two after JuanMa beat Marquez. Sure enough, that fight went up in smoke, just like many others. Look Gamboa and Broner are not just some prospects, they have already become champs and Gamboa is no spring chicken, he is 30 and at that weight, a fighter can get old overnight, especially after a long amateur career. Now is the time, not later. I've stopped counting how many times I have said that, only to see said superfights fall apart for 5-6 reasons. Waiting is clearly a huge gamble.
Right now is the perfect time for Gamboa not Broner. Broner is not ready for Gamboa YET. In a couple years he will be and it will be a big fight.

They could sell PPV right after Broner's next fight but Gamboa needs to get his head screwed on right first after that fiasco he pulled with Rios. 6 months they could do the fight.

This is the type of fight for the Mayweather undercard. It could happen right now. both winner and loser get exsposure, which is what both need.

And the reason why Gamboa should fight Broner next is because after he pulled out of a high exposure fight against a name like Rios, he cannot fight some setup fight or that will look really bad. If he picks a top name, some will forgive him but right now networks are going to be leary, he is going to be sued by everyone he screwed.....he has to make things right, not build up his record against no-hopers, setups, and hasbeens.

Floyd was just trying to get Dirrell and Gamboa's names out there. He's a promoter and now he has ties to both of these guys. That's the way I took it.

... but enough with what he wants to see. I wanna see Floyd - Pac, how bout that?
