I don't recall Mayweather fighting anybody as dangerous as Gamboa or Broner in his rise to stardom. Notice how eager he is to throw their 0s to the shark...

    Petty.
He fought (and stopped) the man at 130 at only 21 with 17 fights, who had only had one loss and that was to Oscar in Genaro Hernandez, RIP. To ignore that feat when Floyd was so young in his career is absurd.

Gamboa vs Broner is a great fight but Dirrel vs Martinez not so much. Martinez belongs at 154-160.

I really don't give a hoot who wins between Gamboa & Broner.

I lol'd at Floyd talking catchweights with Martinez. Only if its for the middleweight title will it be acceptable.
so if floyd doesnt wanna fight at mw then he is ducking Sergio???i dont understand that at all

The Mamba's gave Gamboa one of the Bentley's and the Cuban fool is now a Money team puppet, without a contract and without any possibilities of fighting for the Team.
Another great example of a waste of good talent.
Then comes the Direll fight, Martinez said very clearly that He is NOT fighting Super middleweights because He's a small middleweight, more of a Jr middleweight and Direll is a full super middleweight. Bottom line is that He's saying that HE won't fight Martinez.
The statement has bad faith purposes for both Gamboa and Martinez.
what are you talking about man u got all of that from this small interview?

You're right you don't understand. I did not say if Floyd doesn't want to fight at middleweight he's ducking Martinez. I said the only way I'll find a catchweight acceptable is if it's for the middleweight title.

If the fight is not for anything middleweight, then it should be at 154. No catchweights. For instance if Floyd beats Cotto & decides to defend the title against Martinez, the fight should be at 154, not 150 or some $h!t.

Sergio can fight Ward at a catchweight...or the winner of Bute/Froch

Since he's open to fighting at a catchweight..

                Time to stop stalking WWs..

Floyd is trying to be a promoter.

Those two ww's he is stalking are the two biggest money fights available and they both have jrmw titles on their resume. If Martinez claimed to be a champ at 168 or couldnt make 154 or 160 then it would make sense for him to be mentioned with those guys.
