Mosley is 1-2-1 under ****m with an embarrassing draw with Sergio Mora. He's been looking for paydays since he beat Tonio and lost all of his hunger. We're talking about a guy who hasn't won a fight since January 2009. Remember he had enough in the tank to become champion again after Cotto beat him.

Floyd himself said Mosley talked all of that **** leading up to the fight and fought to survive and earn a paycheck.

Some fighters get better with age. Mosley is not one of them.

Agreed. He looks very stiff and robotic when he fights now. In the first de la hoya fight he was throwing combinations, switching his stance and having fun. I think his problem is he can't make in fight adjustments. When he gets behind he goes into a shell. I would love to have seen ****m train Mosley in his prime though.

But none of those fights were as good as the margarito win. If I'm not mistaken he dropped down to ww fought collazo at 147 and then fought cotto. In that fight according to compubox cotto and Mosley landed the same amount of punches and the fight was very close, many thought mosley could've won or it could've been a draw. I think mosley being the number 1 ww, p4p #3 and coming off a crushing knockout win over margarito is much more impressive then having no belt and coming off a ud over collazo.

Yeah but Floyd was out for a long time too and only fought JMM at 144 before he fought Shane. Technically you can say Floyd was still shaking off some rust and Mosley was/is way stronger than Marquez. Mosley crushed Margarito. Cotto could not do that in the first fight OR when Margarito had his eye all busted it up after his beat down from Pac. Shane/Cotto was a close fight. I think Cotto did enough to win but Shane had Cotto trying to coast through the final rounds to secure a win. Shane was the first guy to show a blue print on how to beat Cotto (pressure) which Margarito capitalized on. Mosley did what no other fighter could do to Margarito..... knock him out. ALSO, Shane didn't want to fight Floyd when he was in his prime. Don't understand why so many disregard this fact.
