Triangle theory. Paul Williams beat Margarito who beat cotto who beat Mosley who beat de la hoya who "beat" Whitaker. So is Paul Williams better than Pernell Whitaker?

Styles make fights. 2007 Mosley handles Margarito just as easy.

Technically you can say Floyd was still shaking off some rust and Mosley was/is way stronger than Marquez. Mosley crushed Margarito. Cotto could not do that in the first fight OR when Margarito had his eye all busted it up after his beat down from Pac. Shane/Cotto was a close fight. I think Cotto did enough to win but Shane had Cotto trying to coast through the final rounds to secure a win. Shane was the first guy to show a blue print on how to beat Cotto (pressure) which Margarito capitalized on. Mosley did what no other fighter could do to Margarito..... knock him out. ALSO, Shane didn't want to fight Floyd when he was in his prime. Don't understand why so many disregard this fact.
Agreed with everything you said. But the discussion is about who faced a more game Sugar Shane Floyd or Cotto. And clearly Mosley was a younger, faster, hungrier fighter in 2007 than he was in 2010. Think about it. He hasn't won a fight since he beat Margarito years ago.

I used to like Mayweather's comments from marketing point of view. Boxing is all about making money, with or without blood. There is no point killing all your boxing opponents if you earn nothing out of it.

Although I do not buy the gloves issue, again it is good from marketing point of view.

WBA Super Welterweight World Champion Miguel Cotto gets his hands wrapped on April 17, 2012 in Orlando, Florida during a media workout in preparation for his Ma

This is news but not that important in comparison to the actual training session. Could have saved it for the time being.

I'm sure a lot of people out there missed the training session and are probably intrigued to see how it went.
Stop crying, I missed the workout and I'm not intrigued whatsoever in how it went. Don't really care. Pretty sure there are a lot that feel the same way.

Plus Boxingscene made that article with the pictures. And, this thread so far as of right now has received twice the many post as that one. And, half of that the post in that article is about Floyd and 50 weird relationship. So I think it's safe to say that people cared about this story. So why bitch about boxingscene clarifying what glove they would use?

Floyd fought Shane after he destroyed Cotto's papi....Margarito...with Nazeem Richardson as his trainer..

WHAT DID SHANE HAVE WHEN COTTO FOUGHT HIM?????

Cotto didn't fight the same guy that destroyed Margarito....don't be a damn fool...

It was Mosley that started Cotto retreating....before then he was plowing over guys..

Cotto will now bring his wife, kids, mistresses, neighbors and a donkey to the fight, and show everyone how much he has improved by losing without getting KTFO.

Mosley is 1-2-1 under ****m with an embarrassing draw with Sergio Mora. He's been looking for paydays since he beat Tonio and lost all of his hunger. We're talking about a guy who hasn't won a fight since January 2009. Remember he had enough in the tank to become champion again after Cotto beat him.

Floyd himself said Mosley talked all of that **** leading up to the fight and fought to survive and earn a paycheck.

Some fighters get better with age. Mosley is not one of them.

Mayweather will get a surprise at 154, i am no fan of Mayweather neither Pacman but i just see people getting it purple with a fake guy like Gayweather. He is not better than Oscar De La Hoya when he was undefeated.
