he's a skilled undefeated fighter who unofficially has +45 wins ... and he's only 21 why wouldn't there be hype? Mexicans love boxing, and the fact that he looks weird and has red hair doesn't hurt him.

well I am Mexican and it is partly because of his looks and you know it. HE is good looking and red haired. That is like the royalty in Mexico. It is like a blonde with blue eyes here in the states or white america. Or like a light skinned colored eyed black person. They are seen as different and something better , or just unique. nothing racist just the way it is
but I think the main reason he gets so much love is because he is young and mexican, he is the next JMM, MAB, El Terrible. HE is the next great thing in the boxing community for the people of mexico and he is a decent fighter who has skill and needs time to blossum. I really like this match up with mosley. He is fast and has power but he is also past his prime so he isnt a big threat. It is setting Canelito up to deal with the Kirklands and Laras of the division. Ill leave you with this, as much as Canelo is a great story especially for mexican fans he needs to step up in competition after this fight. HE is only 21 so even if he loses to Mosley or Floyd or whomever, he has plenty of time to come back. I just dont want to see him destroyed like they did to Vargas

When you are 21 you arent fully grown into a man yet but i mentioned that earlier and get hated on. Many say that was the problem with Vargas. He was to young hadnt fully grown into himself and wasnt ready for the big time. I only say that cause he is ONLY 21. He didint ask for this title shot as so many others do the WBC gave it to him. Hrs fighting a guy that Pac, a guy some call the best, fought LESS THAN A YEAR AGO.
