It's the lack of style, record, power, and knockouts in the guys that he fights that's the problen. It's nice to have all that when the other guy doesn't.

What I don't understand is how people can discredit Canelo. The kid came up and made a name for himself fighting in Mexico - very tough place to make it with so much competition and as a teenager. His last name is not Chavez Jr. He did it all on his own.

He can't win by being smart and taking it slow. He is losing people, but I promise the second he gets to where he wants to go people will jump back on his bandwagon and will forget all about this non-sense. What's the rush the kid is 21. Yes, he is a paper champion and should fight his mandatory. I completely agree, but that's not for him to decide that is for the wretched WBC to enforce. If any of you got a shot to be champions, trust me you would take it. You all should redirect your hate to the WBC not the fighter, his job is to win. That's it. Just win, and he has been doing his job.

he's a skilled undefeated fighter who unofficially has +45 wins ... and he's only 21 why wouldn't there be hype? Mexicans love boxing, and the fact that he looks weird and has red hair doesn't hurt him.
