    '12 Cotto v '07 Hatton

I saw someone in another thread claiming that the 2007 version of Ricky Hatton would beat the 2012 version of Cotto. I think this is ridiculous, but I'm interested to see what others think about it?

No version of Hatton would beat any version of Cotto. Two different levels.

I doubt we will ever see a fighter like Hatton make it so big in boxing. With that being said, he would have given Cotto a tough time but eventually you would expect Cotto to dominate.

If only Hatton looked back on his career then he would realise how fortunate he was to have so much success especially in the 140 division.

Different weights so I'm not sure.

But, I'd pick 09 Cotto at 147 to beat 07 Hatton at 147.

Would be a good scrap though.

It's the 2012 Cotto would be fighting the 2007 Hatton at 147? At 154? Sure Cotto wins. At 147...might be different with those 2 versions.

I think Cotto would beat him at 147 or 154, but that doesn't mean Cotto is a bigger threat or a better win for Floyd (which i guess is where this question stems from).
