“It was to the point where people were saying I pulled an M M A move, I slammed him,” Dawson said. “I had to watch it so many times because I’m like, ‘Did I really slam him?’ I know I didn’t slam him, but I looked to see if it looked like I slammed him. But I didn’t slam him. All I did was move back and just slide out from the headlock he had me in.”

I thought Dawson was going break out his version of this song.

Chad you grabbed the guy's legs and lifted him, this ain't MMA it is boxing.

Face it ***** hops was forced to contractually fight Dawson and he tried to fraud his way out with this move. He got his belt back but too bad they made him fight a mandtory rematch!! haahah, ***** Hops thought he could weseal his way out of this but too bad he's going to have to fight Dawson this time. And this time Dawson is pisses and is out there to putting a hurting on him. I can't wait. Dawson is going to kick the dog **** out of him.

nobody from this side is saying B.Hop doesn't get nasty from time to time...but thats not what his game is based off...he got skills my dude....top 5 of his era excluding NOONE!!...now thats clear!!

Chad wants to THINK B.Hop doesn't wanna fight him...for some reason he's convinced himself and his fans as well as the Hopkins haters(it doesn't take much to bring them out, fact or fiction, they'll be hating no matter what) that bs....come fight night, that ish is gonna bite him so hard that you and the others will feel it....I'll admit, I was kinda suspect about Ex getting by this young Lion....I'm not ******, I know the game and Chad is a elite player...no doubt!!...so I don't see him as a clown or some unskilled chump

all this side is saying that he intended to pick Ex up and slam him...thats all....he's a dirty dude when he wanna be....the fight ended because he picked up and slammed B.Hop down...double leg style...UFC ish...thats all....the case you cats are making is that B.Hop has been doing dirt for years and when he gets it back its a crime....thats yall case.....yall defending something you need to be clever to get away with...obviously yall man aint that clever so let that argument go...for real
secondzout, you always been a real dude, with real talk for days...much respect..

first off, errybody knows, or at least the real cats know, that bernard hopkins, is a philly fighter, well schooled in the philly style of boxing...bernard hopkins, was trained by bouie fischer originally, then bouie fischer, squawked about $ after the trinidad fight, and bernard hopkins, replaced bouie fischer with his understudy, naazim richardson, who has a done a great job, guiding hopkins thru fights, imo, imo, when i first watched bernard hopkins, at the blue horizon, he was the second coming of bennie briscoe, when it comes to chin and toughness, with some meldrick taylor boxing mixed in, but with defense (philly fighters never been known for defense), which bernard hopkins, can take sole credit, for taking old school philly fighting, to another level...the problem most have with bernard hopkins lately, is that bernard hopkins, propensity for dirty tactics, fouling, and faking injuries, is overshadowing, all of bernard hopkins accomplishments and skills...

secondzout, if the bernard hopkins contingent, is claiming that chad dawson's intent was to pick him up and slam him, then bernard hopkins, has to take responsibility for intentionally looking to use a flagrant foul to wear chad dawson down, by leaving his feet, and jumping on his back, my man, and the ref, should be pistol whipped, for not yelling "break" when they tied up, and showing that he is in full control of the situation, that said, both sides in this case, should be able to settle for a one for one, and both sides, should be promoting a clean fight, since it was the fans, who really got the short end of the stick...

the Hopkins haters are gonna be super hating on Sunday....mark my words!!!
What's Hopkins's excuse for jumping on Dawson's back? All you Hopkins fans have this delusional view of what happened where Dawson ran forward, picked Hopkins up, and threw him down. If Hopkins wasn't a punk trying to jump on a man's back over and over, he doesn't end up on the ground to begin with.

F***ing sad. Downright delusional. But if Hopkins had thrown off Dawson, "That's the game, he's smart, he's a G, veteran tactics!"

I can't wait for the moment in the rematch where Hopkins jumps on Dawson again, and Chad throws him off again. You know its coming. Maybe this time Hopkins won't cry and sit on the floor screaming that he only has one arm.

If Hopkins wins, he gets his props, as always. I wish some of you would stop pretending something happened that didn't.

Boxing is a combat sport, of course fighters are gonna get rough from time to time, difference is one guy does it moderately regardless of whether he's winning or losing, the other guy does it when he wants to get out of a situation and doesn't know what else to do.

So you people have convinced yourselves that Dawson was trying to quit.

And it's okay to cheat if you do it a lot.

"Hopkins is the epitome of old school"

Proceeds to roll around on the canvass when pushed over after consistently holding.
