Which Floyd obviously would not go for given Manny's statement.

Well if you read it what do you make of, Floyd's comments, "Pacquiao is an easy night's work", in reference to the Art of War.

So Floyd knows that the $40 million offer was a joke then, if he would not accept $50 million. So why offer $40 million, when he knew it would not be accepted?

But, at the same time, Mayweather's just as bad for refusing it 3 years later.
      This.

Anyone defending either fighter or trying to argue their "rights to do this or that" are out of their minds.
These two greedy pigs are robbing us blind of an eradefining fight and all you do is enable them? For what?

There are no sides here. We're all supposed to be boxingfans and our common interest here is getting to see this fight. Not if Mayweather gets another 1% on his yearly salary or if Pacquiao gets elected queen of pop.

        Yeah. You're absolutely right.

Everyone knows I'm a big Mayweather fan. One of the biggest.

But you can't defend him on this.

        Both are huge diva's.

I don't see the fight happening now.

Even got offered 70/30 off the PPV share, well if he could win, well he had to, it was an easy nights work.

So Floyd turned down 70% of around $160 million, that is about $100 million for an easy night's work.

Can anyone explain why would he do this?

The statement in which you are referring to goes against the mindset that the book would support; however, there is also the study of Musashi, whom we've seen Floyd use his waiting tactics against De La Hoya. In the end, the point is that he is doing what he feels he needs to in order to maximize the money earned from the fight.

Floyd knows that Pac is gong to end up with more than that, and he knows that Pac will get some of the PPV revenue. He is just seeing how much he can get.

                Does it?

What is Floyd doing by saying Pacquiao is an easy night's work?

Is he being true with that statement?

To me, 50/50 and drug testing for both was fair. Why it takes three years to realize this is beyond me. Quite frankly, what their stance is now is insignificant. This fight isn't happening.

We are not playing the question game.

If Floyd is truly, truly, saying that Manny is easy work and believes it, he is setting himself up for failure; however, he verbally acts as if everyone will be easy work and then trains like it is the fight of his life.

Does Mayweather believe it is going to be an easy fight? Not at all. Is saying that it will be a good move? Yes. It gets people mad, makes him look ****y, and people will buy tickets like crazy just wishing he gets knocked out.
