Guess that's why he's on the undercard.

Nope all those Fights were great Perez was the champ when mares fought him Darchy was still himself and agbeko was the champ and you can argue he won the first fight then mares faced him and beat him again....and Morel is a hell of a lot better then Rafael Concepcion.....Like i said donaire has faced a lot of bums a lot...........and wants no part of Rigo......mares will probably end up fighting moreno whilst donaire will be fighting mijares

Well for Nishioaka, it's just his long a$$ layoff.

Yes, Rigo's match with Teon is a complete mismatch but it is no fault of Rigo. I don't think you can beg harder than Rigo did to fight Donaire or the other champions at 122. He was ring side at Donaire-Vasquez and was ignored. He went on twitter and said he would fight anyone at 118, 122, or 126. I felt Rigo beat a solid opponent in Ramos (Fighting in May/June). I really feel bad for Rigo. No one mentioned his name yesterday after Mares won.

Nishioka said if he doesn't fight Donaire next he's retiring and Donaire/Arum didn't pick him. Because of his long layoff I believe this would be a good time for Donaire to fight him. I wish Nishioka would fight 1-2 times b4 he fights annoy other threat.

If it's true that Donaire fights Mijares in july and Arce in the fall, it's gonna be dissappointing as hell.

He needs to fight one of Mares, Nishioka, Moreno, or Rigondeaux this year.

Aside from Montiel, Mares has fought better opposition as of late than Donaire. Morel was Mares' first ehhh opponent in a while. He fought Perez, Darchinyan, and Agbeko twice, all in a row.

Donaire hasn't fought a meaningful fight since Montiel, over a year ago.

And the "they aren't fighting murders row" excuse isn't all that good. Donaire fought WV2, who had just been TKO'd by Arce. And now he's fighting Mijares most likely, who hasn't done a damn thing in 4 years. And there's been talk of him fighting Mathebula, not much problem there with that. He at least beat Ndlovu for a title and it would be to unify. But then if he does that, why not fight Rigondeaux???

And maybe you don't believe this, but I'm sure tons of people here do......Bob Arum isn't going to match Rigondeaux with a Top 122 lb fighter until Nonito is out of the division, you can count on that. Why else would he match him with Teon Kennedy??? Why wouldn't he match him with Steve Molitor at least??? Bob isn't going to put Rigo in any fights that will force the public to say "Rigo vs. Donaire needs to happen".
