i think, if fmj, fought the shane mosley from a couple of years ago, fmj, would have to deal with a shane mosley who was at the peak of his powers, and beccause of his speed, would be able to get away with things, that he wasn't able to do as he got older...not even mentioning shane mosley, at 135 and early 147, was far more accurate, than he was when he fought fmj...shane mosely, in his prime, was able to step in with the lead left hook, and send cats on ***** st., much the way early roy jones was able to do...also shane mosley, had radar all night with the right hand (i thought his left hook was more damaging) and was more committed to bodypunching, and fmj, probably would have found fighting prime shane mosley, a lot more grueling...plus, in shane mosley's defense, whenever shane mosley found the going tough, shane mosley, was always determined to dig deep, and take shots, to land his own, to get a fighter out of there...an intangible, that was definitely missing from shane mosley, by the time he fought manny pacquaio, and fmj, that fmj, and pacquaio didn't have to deal with...

His only avenue to victory is to box and move and avoid exchanges. He could do it, but he certainly won't be able to set his feet like he did against Gerena and Juuko and expect to win out that way in a slugging contest.

Funny, I think it's Floyd that's overrated in this tread. I remember Mosley jumped 2 weight classes to fight the best welterweight in the world. Not just a lineal champ that really wasn't that good of a fighter. But the best prime welterweight on planet earth. Not 2008 version of Oscar, 2000 version of Oscar

Showing your bias. Floyd beats any version of Mosley. If Mosley's tooth didn't hurt he would have got the fight before 2010. Everyone seems to forget about that. Oh and the reason we have lineal champions is because people opinions count for ****. Specially when they have an agenda. So they invented rankings and good champions tend to go after them - so no one can say they didn't beat the best. That isn't clear enough for some though.
