Thats the problem with Floyd choosing to fight over the hill and last generations top boxers. If they have any success like SSM had in the early stage of the fight they are going to assume if SSM was in his prime he would have finished Floyd.

Thats why Floyd should fight fighters in their prime and not just fighters who had a good performance in their last fight like SSM did against Margarito. If Floyd is going to fight these over the hill fighters he has to dominate from start to finish no hiccups or mistakes.

Technically superior certainly, as far as natural ability it's pretty close. who hit harder? Who was faster? Who was smarter? Who was stronger?

Floyd was markedly bullied around by Castillo badly at the lower weight. Shane was even bigger than Jose. 155 on fight night sometimes.

Winky turned down a Floyd fight in 2005 at 154 though, because of the split or some s**t. And as far as Vernon Forrest, great fighter, was compeltely stunned when he lost got TKO'd by Mayorga. Maybe not as stunned as when Roy got knocked out by Tarver, but pretty close.
