If judges were to publicly show their scorecards, between each round...

Will that help quell cheating on the scorecards?

So for e.g. After Round 1, every judges scorecard is put on display for the entire arena and TV audience to see. And the same thing takes place consecutively after each round.

I believe this will encourage judges to make sure they score a round correctly.

i forgot where valero and demarco fought but in like the 4th round or something, they announced the scorecards so far while they were fighting, like through pa speakers. crowd responded to it if i remember correctly. haven't seen the fight in a while but yeah, only way to actually stop shit like this is if we got rid of these powerful promoters like arum or king. and maybe there can be a stricter policy on judging, like turning in a scorecard like pierre benoist did in the 1st williams/martinez fight or ruben garcia did in the donaire/vazquez fight would result in a permanent ban from professional judging. they should make an example out of these **** that mess with people's career and living.

It would get them killed on site. That's like seeing your ******** money go down the drain with each round, no matter if your fighter is kicking the others ass or not.

It was a pro Rios crowd. They would have cheered and encouraged the judge.

My dad worked security. Said the crowd was disgusted and booed Rios. People don't give fans enough credit sometimes. They know garbage when they smell it.

They should have an independent government appointed stewards like they do for horse racing that overseer WT fights , you lodge a protest and they make a decision that can over turn the decision on the night , you have 12 hrs to lodge and all moneys including bets are withheld until they give their verdict , boxing will always be corrupt when it is run by big money promoters feathering their own nest .

All that will do is give us a round by round sneak peek into the impending robbery. The Only way to solve the problem is competent judges.

Way too much potential for fans influencing judges more than they already do. If they are booing a judge who has the arena's favorite fighter losing, and that judge starts scoring rounds differently, we have an even bigger controversy on our hands.

No that's a horrible idea. Judges should watch the fights using screens, its ridiculous how three judges are seated at completely different angles and their perspectives can be completely skewed which may be interpreted as plain robbery at home. They miss a lot of stuff which is why there is a lot of incompetence in the world of judging irrespective of blatant corruption.

the WBC has open scoring after 4th & 8th rd...they should do it after every 2nd rd! you don't see as many robberies in the HW division because a KO happens more frequently...
