This will go down as one of the worst robberies of ALL time. Shit like this makes me question whether or not I wanna keep following this sport.

These two statements sum up virtually everything I think about this fight.

Richard Abril may not be pretty to watch, but he put on a clinic against Rios last night...an absolute boxing master class. It is heinous that his moment in the sun was snatched from him by corrupt judging. Makes you ask: What's the point in boxing well if it'll just be blatantly overlooked in favor of the more popular fighter?

Why doesn't the press (including reporters who for for this site) invite the two judges to justify their scores? If they were under that type of scrutiny, it would make it a lot harder for business interests to buy them off.

Can't blame Rios for the backroom deals though. But I'm real curious to know what he thinks of the decision. A true warrior, a man of integrity, admits defeat when he gets his arse handed to him by a better fighter.

the funny thing is, pac was the aggressor and landed more punches than marquez...rios on the other hand got outlanded/outpunched, got schooled...and knows he got a gift decision. and for rios to even act like he won the fight is a disgrace...and an even more disgrace to even respond with "they, the media people are fat" is even more disgraceful and shows alot of immaturity and lack of professionalism with rios

shame on boxing for letting a decent fighter get screwed. Rios lost 10 rounds max. sad and disgusting and it was PPV. rotted decision Rios is terrible.

Huge robbery. Anyone who isn't blind can see that. Abril totally owned Rios ala Mayweather-style and was obviously winning but I guess the judges got paid off to let Rios win. Robbery of the DECADE.

Kind of sad when a guy like Abril unknown wins big and gets screwed over. Rios got the hell beat out of him and again the judges screwed the lesser known fighter. something rotten is going on in boxing. small crowd too. Rios career is about done. no fan appeal. too vulgan and ignorant.
