cleaning out divisions is what i want to see. not ill-conceived concepts of fairness. the height differences between pac-margarito, floyd-corralles, tommy hearns-many of his opponents at welterweight, klits-many of their opponents were less than "fair" by your accounts. skill combined with a gameplan that maximizes your abilities while playing off their weaknesses can overcome that.
Thank you. I think the thing about Broner people are really picking on isn't height or weight, it's talent. Scary talent. So they wish they could rush him, somehow prop-block him saying he fights at an advantage, etc... Fact is, the one fight i saw he looked awesome. Power, speed and skills. Need to see him in bigger fights and we might just have a great fighter in the making.

LOL at Boxing Fans trying to tell a fighter which weight he "SHOULD FIGHT AT" it is up to Broner and which weight he feels the most comfortable at, it doesn't look to me that he is struggling to make 130 right now...

not only that but the guy is only 22 years old...granted he is way more talented and advanced then most 22 year old fighters but.... why are people trying to rush his development along and force him to move up in weight when his career is just getting started, I think he is taking the right steps in his career, it is really no need to rush him along, they are already working on a fight with Vicente Escobedo so what more do fans want, that is a pretty good fight/test for him

again he is 22 years old, he will start to move up when he feels he is ready...but lets be realistic though, as much as I would love to see Broner vs Gamboa, Broner vs Rios...as long as both are with Top Rank...IT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, especially with Broner being a Al Haymon Fighter, he would have to SIGN with Top Rank for those fight to happen and we know that is not going to happen

but it is no need to try and Rush fighters like Gary Russell Jr., Mickey Garcia and Adrien Broner, they are all very young and will eventually get to the big fights when they feel they are ready!

If you can make the weight without using illegal substances than you can fight at that weight bottom line. It doesnt matter how tall you are or if you are bigger than your opponent.

Thats the point, by the time he moves up, it wont be anyone to fight...Broner is a good fighter, but he's wasting his talents....by the time he moves to 135, it wont be any talent there for him to fight, by the time he moves up to 140, there wont be any talent left, by the time he moves up to ww, everyone will be retired, or fighting at super welterweight...if I was him, I would move up to 135, and campaign there for a YEAR at the MOst...whipe out the devision, then go to 140, do the same, then go to ww, and at least Floyd wont be retired by the time he gets to ww...he's wasting his talents

I dont care who's closer, farther apart..his size shouldnt even be comparable to welters, and junior welters..the kid fights at nearly six weight classes below them...he is too big to be picking on walmart greeter's 12 year old nephews....he didnt land any punches on little perez cuz little perez was too small and slippery, and when he finally landed, the guy wasnt even conditioned enough to be taking punches from superwelterweights...that fight was horrible...Broner lands one punc, and the little guy goes down like that?...Broner is too big for that class, and THATS a FACT!

Dont be one of those blacks who actually support Broner...I used to like him, but he so fake, and he steals every detail of Floyd's personality...he even tries to sit in his stool, and make the same emotionless faces that Floyd makes, and its gross....and he is fighting little bitty guys and too big for that class...dont make yaself look bad by taking up for him...I go out of my way to show people that just because I like flashy defensive fighters, it does not mean I like Broner...Broner is a major joke, and he's a fake wanna be...Dont go out in public and let people know that ur a fan...u will make a fool out of yaself my dawg

That pic actually looks photoshopped, lol.

They need to have the weigh-ins no more then 6 hours before the fights!

Maybe Broner should fight the Good fighters at 130 before moving up and if he's not struggling to make weight don't expect it anytime soon There aren't any big names at 135 to entice him so why bother he can get forcefeed weaklings for HBO pay checks.

Vazquez is the toughest of the bunch followed by Demarco he's a bigger more aggressive version of Ponce and maybe Lundy might have a chance if he were to move up
