Canelo doesn't have enough American exposure to break any records.

He needs to headline his own big show vs a legit top guy at 154 first.

He'll fight Kirkland in Vegas or Los Angeles in September, I'm betting on it. That's a good/legit fight fi that happens, and it makes Floyd-Canelo a real and legit fight, if Canelo wins of course.

You know that's the case. He almost got a gift in his own fight with Floyd with that one ref giving him a 115-113 edge. He trying to use Floyd to make Canelo the next largest draw in boxing. You noticed Floyd hasn't come out and stated that he wants that Canelo fight in the near future.

how does a kid this young have almost 40 fights already. they just push him to make money. him and chavez jr knowing the mexican spanish fan base is huge. how does he get to be number 2 ranked having fought virtually no one ? beating hatton, cintron, lovermore would only get anyone else a number 10 ranking. he's not that good and even if he beats a fading mosley that ain't sayin much.
