this is one of the many excuses i hear yet when pacquiao was this so called killer he still couldn't beat marquez so i don't understand what people mean when they say things like he doesn't have the killer instict anymore even when he did he had problems with technicians like marquez and morales.any way to answer the ts question i think manny had an aura of invincibilty to many but the marquez fight showed that he is not invicinble and now many people believe he has no chance in hell of beating floyd mayweather so he is now not as relevent as he was 2-3 years ago

I think yes to an extent. People are sick of his opposition mostly and how he's been tied to Floyd for so long. The initial "no" to drug testing has made many people think twice and have been more critical because of it (As it should be imo). Floyd used to get so much hate for fighting Oscar when he was older, etc and now people have been like "Wtf Pac is doing the same thing maybe worse!". This, ironically could be due to Arum. His hype machine is so good that after a while the hype isn't matching up. It's by no cooncidence Floyd has fought better fights since leaving Arum and has finally gotten recognition for his skills. Remember, with Arum he was a "hyped" fighter who "ran" and everybody wanted him to lose. Look at his fights with Arum and look at after... Pac should leave Arum and fight only big fights. Pac has NO BUSINESS in there with Margo, Shane coming off a "loss" to Mora, or with Clottey...hell you could even argue he had no business being in there with JMM at this stage. The Bradley fight is one that makes sense, so hopefully this is a sign of things to come. I desperately want Pac to prove himself properly, and I I'd hate to see him retire with so many question marks. Still rooting for him, even against Floyd. But make no mistake about it, that is not an admission of his "goat" skills.

His hype has definitely gone down, but he's nowhere near irrelevant.

Yes, went down a little in the Mosley fight and more on the Marquez fight.
As for his relevance, nowhere near going down.

I remember after his Win over Cotto the whole world was buzzing and it was Pacquaio this, Pacquaio. However his last 2 fights were ehh and one in which 80% of the ppl think HE LOST. I just feel like he is getting more and more irrelevant to boxing. Let's see how he does to Bradley, I think eventually he will have to take a beating from Maywaether for a pay day and then retire.
Absolutely...he used to have this aura of invincability...he was too fast, and too strong for anyone to beat him...but see now, He has fallen off, and Floyd has been getting better and better each Fight...and people start to realize, "Wait a minute...Floyd is undefeated"...Floyd actually HAS that aura of invincibility...and he had the showstopping KO Over Ortiz that made the WHOLE world stop, and now he's gonna put boxing back on the map...If he Gatti's Cotto like I think he will, Floyd seem like this unstoppable demigod..his defense is different now...now he is an offensive fighter that u cant land a punch on...there has never been a fighter in history that could be described in that way...so I think Pacman is over, Floyd has just started...after 41 fights, he just started all over again, improving his style, punching power, aggression..This is Floyd's sport now...he owns it
