I dont know about irrelevant but i do know all the die hard Pac fans i know (yes they are casual fans who know nothing of boxing but Pac) dont even know he is fighting soon. One of them, i swear it no BS, took off his Pac shirt and threw it in the garbage after the JMM fight cause he even said he lost.

On a side note i am a boxing and and i am looking forward to Pac v Bradley fight. Do i think Bradley is a little overrated..yes i do but i also think the same of Pac so its a good fight for me. Not to overrated but in no way a top 5 P4P so calm down Pac fans

The only reason is because his fight is ways away and Floyds is just around the corner. I love people who can't think outside the box or inside it for that matter. Common sense tells you when something is more relevant there is a reason for it. It becomes a time frame in which Floyd is more relevant than Pac because of fight time. I bet this thread will be IRRELEVANT when PACs fight becomes closer.

i also don't really subscribe to applying the word relevant or irrelevant to a boxer...

their glory times come and go and fans should be able to enjoy the fighters contributions to the sport and appreciate them for that...

They are only a month apart so i dont see how that matters, not like Pac is fighting in Nov. I hear more talk about khan v peterson than i do Pac fight. I disagree, using another example of a major sporting event its like the World Cup in football/soccer for example. There is also the Euro Cup. Everyone is always super excited about the World Cup its definitely the biggest sporting event in the world. But people get real excited about the Euro Cup too. However, the Euro Cup is sooner and so you'll hear more hype about the Euros than the World Cup.

The closer the event is from happening the more excited people get, its only natural. If its further in the future you tend to put it into the back of your mind but when something is coming closer you definitely think about it more.

It's not hard to understand that the only thing that was keeping Pac relevant was the thought of him beating Floyd. The day Pac walked away from him to fight Clottey, Margarito, Mosley and so on.... he has become irreverent...
