Sure there is a good reason not to rematch him. He knocked him out in the first round and he has other fighters to face in his limited time he continues to fight. the Lennox situation was completely different. I can't believe you even responded to our posts.

This is how I see it, the Fat Cuban did not deserve or work for his first shot at the title. The fact that he is s fat cow surely proves that he did no work in the gym and other than Vit he has fought no one. So he should at least have to earn it this time around. And in my opinion fighting some clown that has recently been blown out in the 1st round by the great Tye Fields surely isn't a step in the right direction.

Who's hating? I've always maintained I would have liked a Lewis-Klit rematch. But I can still respect Lewis' decision to retire. Had he come back and avoided V I'd be right with you. If Vitaly retires and doesn't come back you will never hear me say he avoided this rematch. If he remains active though and Solis can get back to where he was than he is just as deserving as Klit was with Lennox. Would Solis win? Maybe, but I wouldn't bet on it. But that doesn't change the fact he is the most talented contender out there and his chance to prove himself was cut short by an unfortunate injury.

If Vitaly retire before fighting Solis again it means he is scared and blatantly ducking him. He saw the skills Solis brings into the ring and wants no part. A freak knee injury is the only thing that stopped Odlanier from winning that fight.
