Lumped in??? He's one of my favorites, what are you getting at??? I don't consider Roy and Winky, who are still active as of right now I guess, as active fighters. So I place them with past fighters.

Oh ok I thought it was some sort of Favourite/ATG ranking you had going on. I really dont like Wink. You don't turn down Floyd, Oscar, and JT rematch.

No. It's just my favorite fighters, past and present.

I like Winky Wright, whatever the bulls**t with turning down fights because of money, oh well, he was still the man. He was robbed against Vargas and Taylor, plain and simple. And the Hopkins fight was way closer than the scorecards indicated.

I was praying to see Mayweather-Wright back then though. I kinda knew it seemed like more hype than reality though. He should have rematched Jermain Taylor though.

          CONTROVERSY!

PEOPLE ARE ADDICTED TO CONTROVERSY IN AMERICA!

Also people LOVE (and LOVE TO HATE) the Rebel/Villain...why in the hell do you think the Last Batman Movie did so well...Because people wanted to see Heath Ledger as The Joker (THE VILLAIN)

A Great Villain makes for a better and more entertaining character IMO, Mayweather was the first to flat out take on the Villain Role, if he did not turn into "MONEY" Mayweather he certainly wouldn't be the Boxing Superstar that he is today...gotta understand also that he doesn't have Big Endorsements and all that stuff so taking on this Villain Role and on top of that not officially signing to any of the top Promotions In Boxing was actually a HUGE RISK

but he MADE IT WORK and it paid off for him BIG TIME, I personally don't think anybody can or will pull what he is doing off again, because for one none of them have the SKILLS like Mayweather and none of them are as NATURALLY ENTERTAINING as Mayweather, you know your Entertaining when the people who claim they "HATE YOU" are following your every move EVERY DAY, Follow you on Twitter and Liked your page on Facebook, I personally have never see anything like this, he is literally the Yankees and Lakers of Boxing, either you love him or you love to hate him...but either way when he is one...YOUR GOING TO WATCH!

And By the way Mayweather is not as "HATED" as people think, especially when you stop away from this Forum and step into the REAL WORLD and discuss boxing with people in person...it is just that a lot of his haters have NO LIFE, so they make the most noise on the Internet, with their MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS on Boxing Forums and when posting comments on youtube, but he has WAY MORE FANS then he does "HATERS"

            1) He keeps winning.

            2) He's polarizing. Love him or hate him, you want to see him fight. The president of the WWE once stated that his villians are often his biggest draws because people will tune in every week and buy every PPV just because they want to see that guy lose. The fans get so hooked into the emotional aspect that they don't realize they're being played, and that's exactly what Floyd is doing when he says abrasive things.

I like how you lumped Mayweather in there. When the hell did Winky ever turn down Mayweather?

Morales was a good win for Manny, but it came right after Erik lost to Raheem.

And he didn't rematch Marquez immediately ever, and he arguably has never beat him, at least not convincingly man.
Are you talking about after the first fight? Is so, why didn't he rematch JMM immediately?
