Because he acts like a twat and there are two sets of idiots who buy his fights. The ones that actually find his schtick "entertaining" and the others who want to see him lose.

Then there are the select few that actually appreciate his skill but that wouldn't account for the huge PPV numbers.

There is no "aura of invincibility" with Floyd. He already lost to Oscar and Castillo and he struggled with Hatton, Mosley, and Judah. The plain and simple truth is that people tune in to see Floyd lose. He's built a persona on being the biggest douche rocket in the sport of boxing, because he knows his fighting style alone would draw little to no fans. His racist rants, sucker punching and such only hurt his reputation but he seems to thrive on these type of things.

To put it plain and simple... When Pac is talked about, they are saying good things.

When Floyd is talked about, they are saying bad things.
I can already tell you've never watched the vast majority of his fights, based on the "He lost to Oscar" statement alone. No one in their right mind had that fight a SD, aside from the dumb judge that gave Oscar that decision. He won that fight 9-3/8-4, and was in cruise control the entire second half of the fight. He out landed by like almost 100 punches. Get real homie.

I thought the first Castillo fight was 6-6 in rounds, with Floyd losing because of the point deduction. Floyd rematched him immediately, something your boy doesn't know how to do, and won convincingly. Floyd does have an aura of being unbeatable, even though everyone is beatable. He just does.

I became a fan because of his skill, that's why I watch him. That's probably not why he sells so much though. It is what it is.

There both big draws. Be objective and stop trolling the thread. What is the main reason, to you, as to why Floyd is such a big draw???
he had his day. Since he went publicly and told everyone hes not fighting A plus fighters for the rest of his career...and since he ducked Manny Pacquiao....He has lost a great deal of stock!. you can only write so many bad checks before you get caught up. Floyd has written to many! ...

                That's way overblown homie.

If he really didn't fight good fights for the rest of his career after Cotto, it'd be oddly similar to Pac's run of Margarito-Mosley-Marquez in 2010-2011. To get even remotely close to that bad, he'd have to fight people like Maidana, Ortiz/Berto II loser, and Erik Morales. I doubt he does some s**t like that.

Since Pac seems to be fighting a Rios-JMM winner, a good fight, and Sergio is fighting Julio in September, I'm guessing Flyd will fight Canelo in a unification, if Canelo beats a Top SWW (Cotto-Molina-Kirkland-Lara). He still has Amir Khan (if he beats Peterson and someone like the Ortiz-Berto winner), Sergio potentially, as well.

He has good fights left man.

Floyd is the draw he is because he's been undefeated for 16 years, is American, and because people want to see him get his ass beat. It's as simple as that.

He rematched Morales immediately because Morales won the first fight, it's not like Pac won a close and controversial fight, Morales actually won. And he only beat Morales after Erik had lost to Zahir Raheem......

Morales was a good win for Manny, but it came right after Erik lost to Raheem.

And he didn't rematch Marquez immediately ever, and he arguably has never beat him, at least not convincingly man.
