Go watch the post fight interview. He said it like three times that Andrade lost because he left his corner.. That means the only way Andrade could have won in that situation is if Wright waved it off... in which he made it clear he would have done IF he hadn't found a reason to turn around.
Bute....

Kessler hasn't done anything since his win over Froch...... Since then he's been injury riddled.... The one win since 2010 hasn't convinced me he still has it at world level....
Kessler of old- Sure/Maybe
Old Kessler- NahComment

Yeah but I still favor him, Kessler is experienced yet Direll since being out of the ring would be a toss up vs Bute.Comment

He did but the ref was in no position to see that and the bell never rang to officially end the fight.
The ref had no idea how much time was left and made it clear he would have waved it off if he hadn't found a reason to turn around... this was my initial point but too many people think I'm a fan of Andrade and actually cared about who won... I don't. I have a problem with the ref turning in the middle of the fight when a fighter is out on his feet. Then tells everyone he would have stopped the fight if he hadn't turned around. In which he had no reason to turn around in the first place.Comment

As for controversial fight goes. This fight is overrated, there is really no controversy here. The problem is whovever was in charge of the bell that night was wrong as hell, the bell should've rung as soon as the time hit triple zero's regardless of the KD, but they didn't, they waited until the ref finished his count.
Another thing is, I never heard was the 10 second warning, Wright could've made a good case of not knowing how much time was left in the fight, and that's why he kept telling Andrade to retun to his corner, even tho I thought that it was unnecessary.
At first I was accusing him of stealing the fight from Andrade, but the more I look at, the more I can tell that he just didn't know how much time was left in the fight, which was time keepers fault.
When Bute got up, the fight was over. If the ref would have stopped the fight when Bute had gotten up. Now that would have been very controversial. That could have been counted as a robbery.
But, as it happen, no. Bute won and legitimately. Now was the ref garbage, did he suck? No doubt, but Bute won fairly.Comment

I agree, I don't this version of Kessler beating Bute.
Bute, is actually a talented fighter, not a bad fighter. And, also an experienced fighter. He is not a prospect, he has been a title holder for years now.
Not sure why some people think he is a **** fighter. Can he beat Ward? I don't think so, but I don't know who can either.
Kessler also turned down a fight with Bute. I don't why but Bute gets undeserved hate sometimes...He is no Steiglitz, no one cares about that dude.Comment
