Speaking of Jimmy, I don't know what the stats are now but we had the Compubox thread before and Vitali had some crazy stats. He might have better stats than Floyd, I'm not sure.
im sane and i argue floyd is one of the best defensive fighters ever. definitely.

Floyd's no doubt one of the best defenders ever. But like others are mentioning, his competition in comparison to the likes of what Ali & Robinson faced is a far reach, but you can't blame Floyd for that. That's not to say he's fought **** fighters (far from the truth), but put Robinson in with the last 15 years of Middleweights or Ali w/ last 15 years of Heavyweights and likely they would be considered the GOAT.

Mayweather is one of the best defensive fighters of all time but it has nothing to do with his compubox numbers.

... How so? This is just putting it in a critical statistical analysis. It has everything to do with numbers.

Because the numbers aren't accurate, mainly.

Compubox numbers or not it's clear to see his is one of the best defensive marvels the sport has ever seen.

That applies for other defensive fighters who didn't have inaccurate punch counts in their time.

i got a compubox guy sitting in my head during the fights when i watch them
                    tapping his little clicker

                    it's called a brain

floyd is the greatest defensive fighter in an era of lackluster offensive fighters

his defense is changing the way people box.
just look at some of these guys trying to be floyd mayweather out there.

                      That's very true.

I see a lot of kids in the gym trying to fight like Mayweather in the last few years.
