What range the fight is fought at is the big question. I think the combination of Lee's size, jab, power (his left cross and right hook are great) and footwook will be able to keep Chavez off of him and make it mostly a boxing match from the outside.

Lee does neglect his jab on occasion though and in the Mcewen fight he was not throwing combinations and looking for single power shots. If he does that then JCC's chances increase significantly but in the biggest fight of his life with Manny in his corner i don't see that happening. In the Vera rematch after Mcewen Lee looked the best iv ever seen him and that's the Lee im expecting.

I can't help but think back to all those power shots Zbik was landing especially in the first half of the fight. If that was Lee Chavez would have been knocked out inside 4 rounds.

I am unsure why so many people are thinking Lee's power will be a non-factor. Zbik, Manfredo, even Rubio did not have 1 punch power. Lee does and it will be a factor.

Lee does crack harder than Chavez's previous three opponents and when he throws in combination, he is a very fluid boxer. Pressure does alot of things to a fighter though, like Margarito's did to Cotto. I'm not saying Chavez can apply the same kind of pressure, but being forced to back up constantly and be always retreating does affect the gameplan.

Maybe it's because I haven't seen Chavez hurt lately, but I just envision him taking Lee's best and coming back to catch a fading Lee late. (Hope I'm wrong.) I'd rather see Lee vs Martinez.
