A well thought out list. Much better than any I have seen in recent times.

cotto should be on the list because unlike some of the champions that did make the list he has been active and has been impressive enough to warrant the number one spot at jmw

moreno is an odd entry...though he's a good fighter, the quality of his opponents isnt as high as some of the other fighters listed. one could possibly make a point of him beating darchinyan, but vic simply hasnt won a fight of note since beating mijares and arce which he did 3 years ago

mares has the edge on moreno based on the quality of opponents they've faced recently but it he isnt p4p top 10 material either...

i don't know why hopkins was at #7...perhaps boxingscene wanted to appease the crying-old-man...

Yep and beating Donaire would be more impressive than beating Wlad.

So they admit that Pacman's victory over the lightweight Marquez was hotly debated, yet somehow he still sits at #1?? When the fight right before that they chose a shot Sugar Shane?? Ok.

I think they feel sorry for Pac because when he drops off the top spot he's never getting it back.

do you guys know how to score afight?

                marquez didn't lose to pacquiao

i dont give a damn what the judges, boxrec, michael buffer has to say abotu the records

                marquez beat pacquiao

                mayweather
                marquez
                ward
                pacquiao
                martinez
                donaire
                wladimir

and then it drops the hell off. vitali used to be up there in that tier, but he looked awful in his last fight and his gigantic body is deteriorating before our eyes.
