As for Ashira, he wasn't very good, but he was good enough to stop Lacy in the amateurs!
although thers no evidence to this statement, more importantly, it doesnt matter
    at all
this has no bearing on anything and had absolutly no relevance

if your going to keep sticking up for joe, then put up a bet on him

More like the other way round, the fight is being held in England so Calzaghe may get robbed on the cards.

Do me a favor and go back and read all your posts in this thread.

Could you be any more of an indecisive flip flop?

You're not just on the fence, you're dancing on it.

ok time to inject a bit of realism in the thread, its well known i dislike calzaghe and like lacy however this fight is not far from a pick em i honestly only lean towards lacy by 60 65 %, yes he is strong aggresive, punches well but he does get caught and he has been rocked (imo by someone not particuarly good - Sheika), he breaks fighters down and wears them out, i know he clubbed scott to the canvas but its not like he had a concrete chin.
Calzaghe has basically looked **** the last year or so but this is the fight where everything is on the line and when hes fought better oppponants he usually puts in a better performance.
I do think that lacy will hurt cal early and stop him late but inbetween getting in the shots to keep joe honest he will get the nuts boxed off him and may get dropped himself (if sheika can hurt him imo so can cal)
Ive seen alot of lacy and alot of cal and i nut hug no one ideally id love to see jeff come out and **** cal right up for 5 or 6 rounds total domination or as near as but id be so shocked to see that this is going to be close hard fight whoever wins

funny how ur the only one praising cal***gy's power and everyone else is saying how lacy fights like mike tyson (the 1988 mike tyson).
Lacy fights NOTHING like Tyson, that's about as big an insult as you could throw at Mike. Tyson had speed, skill, defence and power that Lacy can only dream about.

Name me one decent fighter that Lacy's blasted out as evidence of his "awesome" power. Every big fight I've seen him in he's only stopped his opponent due to pressure/volume.

I think most of the crowd will be behind Jeff Lacy, other than the 50 or so Welsh fans making the long trip up to Manchester.
