Well, I was a big fan of Joe in the early 1990's when he was winning ABA titles with unbelievable ease.
When we saw Eubank at the weigh-in, we knew he stood no chance, he admitted himself before the fight that his only chance was to get Joe out of there early because he was so dehydrated.
so not only was eubank a wasted talent, he wasnt disciplined enough to make weight and had to dehydrate himself
Anyway, I'm excited about the fight and from what I know it will be a good matchup and the toughest fight of Lacy's career. Lacy does not impress me with his handspeed or knockout punch at all. He's a strong, tough guy who will continue to have success in the sport but I can see him getting outboxed and decisioned. I can't envision him coming from behind with a one punch knockout. He's a grinder. He beats the fight out of you, and then knocks you out.
But how will he react when he is behind on points, cut, on the verge of being knocked out, etc?
I hope we'll find out.
There's no way that Lacy lasts 12 rounds with Calzaghe, how open he is, if Calzaghe wins this he's winning it by knockout or stoppage. I'm guessing that this fight doesn't last two rounds.
I'm hoping Calzaghe will be somewhat rejuvinated in his preperation for this fight. This is his biggest fight in a long time, so hopefully he'll have a renewed interest in the sport, and a real fire to win.
I have seen both fighters, but nothin' of Calzaghe recently. I'm not one to make bets on who will win fights.

this post goes down in history as one of ur dumbest of dumb posts ever, juyjuy.
cal***gy couldnt even KO evans ashira, a no name bum (dont give me this one handed bull****, ever hear of danny williams?) and there is no way he'll be able to stop a true champion like jeff lacy.
