His case is that it is his opinion on how to rank a mythical based opinion ranking. A make believe ranking.

Who would win if fighter A fought fighter B and both were same size, same height, same reach, same weight. Skill for skill, style for style.

You sound like a fool taking P4P rankings so serious. It's not real, it's make believe.

I believe Chocolatito would beat Ward if they were the same size...Prove me wrong? You can't, you can state your opinion why you feel the opposite. But, no way anything can be proven in a P4P sense.

its not just about the skillset though. i agree that he has one of the most complete skillsets in the game, and his resume is really good, but he's done that at one weight. pacquiao, marquez, floyd, martinez are doing what they're doing above their original weight. that counts for something. that's what P4P means.

Pacquiao has no defense. And Martinez only fights one way.

And you can include resume. There are not many, if any, boxers around right now that have fought the best their division has to offer. He didn't fight everyone but he fought all the best guys. All he needs is Bute and he basically owns that division.
This right here ^^^ just told the entire story of this thread.

          Good job.

Yes but you can't judge a guy's ability just because he was able to beat one great fighter. JMM has been outboxed several times in his career and not always against HOF caliber opposition. I respect his ability and I rank him above Ward because of his accomplishments but skill for skill Ward is better in my book.

If you think other fighters are better give reasons why. Don't just say said fighters are better because I said so.

Ali, Holmes, Lennox and both Klitschkos are all at one weight.

Your argument is void in that regard.

However, P4P was never intended to used for HWs anyway.

                  Fair enough,

I actually rank Ward higher P4P. I have JMM at #2.

What do P4P rankings have to do with anything? I'm talking about sheer boxing ability. What is so hard to understand about that? P4P rankings don't mean jack ishh. I use my eyes to asses a fighters ability. Learn reading comprehension.
