Kessler, Abraham and Froch are bums? He dominated those guys, meanwhile JMM went to war with Katsidis and got dropped.

I would say he is, Marquez is up there too but he's definitely not in his prime.

That shouldn't matter. If anything it is even more of a testiment to his greatness. Marquez was years past his prime, but still managed to completely dominate and school Pacquiao who was viewed by many as the world's best boxer at the time. Ward is very talented but he is not as good as Marquez is. Ward clinches too much and uses a lot of dirty tactics to get through fights. I don't think we can say that his defence is really good, because it's not like he uses great defence much of the time. His strategy when the opponent tries to attack is to just clinch him, over and over and over and over again. He clinches way too much.

Ward good skill very boring to watch....Ward has not been knockdown but only has 25 fights compared to Marquez's 60. Your argument is invalid and Marquez is an overall better fighter

Ward's fight game has so much depth. He can fight on the inside and outside. He can box and brawl. He's an excellent offensive and defensive fighter. The only thing that Ward lacks is power. Ward is just about as complete as s fighter can be.

It is, but right now Ward is clearly the better fighter in my opinion. He's better defensively and in the pocket. Also there wasn't much clinching in the Kessler or Froch fight.
