So far, I'm impressed by Price but who knows what happens when he steps up the competition. But he gets my vote.

What do you think about David Price?
Solis doesn't have the stamina to give Helenius a "boxing lesson." He's an extremely slow starter and fights only in spurts. Save for his last fight (he looked like crap), Helenius throws a lot more punches and has a more aggressive style and better stamina than Solis. Against Ray Austin (if my memory serves me), Solis didn't inflict too damage and out boxed him at times but was inactive for long stretches in the that. Ray Austin being the fighter he is, was not able to capitalize on that. I think Helenius would press the fight, land his big shots (and take Solis') and wear his opponent down to eventually get the KO or points victory..

Overall, once the Klits are gone the division will be in dire straights. There's some talent, but there is very little discipline. The worst era ever is going to get even worse in the future.

Good post. I agree Solis would have to work on his stamina, but I still view him as the more versatile and talented fighter. We also need to see how Helenius comes back from his shoulder surgery. Hopefully he'll be the same, only more determined than before to prove himself.

Yea and part of the reason he was so terrible against Austin was cause he weighed 260lbs.

He looked much better against Vitali 15 pounds below that. And even then he probably could lose another 20.

Well that seems to be the thing....we've seen flashes of brilliance, and his potential is undeniable, we're just waiting on discipline and commitment. If all these things were to come together we may have a special fighter.

Neither are particularly good. Arreola would beat both.

I like Arreola, but what are you basing this on? And is Chris than the future of the division?

                    Chisora and Solis aren't comparable.

Price looks like the best from these shores.
