It was reported that Ali clocked in his jab at the exact same time as Ray Robinson.

    Interesting stuff.

The hardest jab -lb4lb- I have ever seen....was Ike Quartey's.
      It was unbelievable.
I was watching his fight v Ralph Jones recently - his jab even sounded different than other fighters.

If your talking about the Heavyweights then

Sonny Liston - Most powerful jab out of everyone. Knocked out Betheas teeth with his jab. However it wasn't that fast but his massive 84 inch reach made up for it.

Muhammad Ali - Fastest jab out of all the heavyweights. Not that powerful though. Ali often flicked it and tried to cut opponents and used it to set up his right and and distancing.

Larry Holmes - Best all round jab. Harder than Alis' jab and faster than Sonny's.

Japanese boxer Ryo Mashiba had by far the best flicker jab ever.

I think a lot of people overlook just how great Marvin Haglers right jab really was. The way he used the jab and those short little punches on the inside to dismantle John Mugabi is a thing of beauty. When Marvin saw that Mugabi was slowing a bit and didn't want to keep the torrid pace that had been established, Marvin jumped back on him and kept throwing that right jab to dissect him slowly.
