When I mean by speaking well, I mean speaking with charisma and using sound grammar, like during interviews and press conferences. Antonio Tarver speaks very well and also so did Muhammad Ali. Jermain Taylor doesn't speak well and stutters a lot. Which other boxers speaks very well?

I haven't really paid much attention to Taylor, but Ali and Tarver are more witty than well spoken. One person that comes to mind is Joe "The 3rd Franchise" Mesi. Oh how can I forget Leon Spinks guy should've been an English teacher...Originally posted by Tarver is my dadWhen I mean by speaking well, I mean speaking with charisma and using sound grammar, like during interviews and press conferences. Right now, definitely Antonio Tarver. He started boxing late and he didn't get hit as much so he still speaks very clearly.
Tarver would make a very good boxing commentator. He speaks very clearly, he's funny, he's got character, and being a fighter himself is a definite advantage. The only thing that will keep him from that HBO job is his looks. You may sound good but if you don't look right, then you can't be on television, end of story.Comment
