Solis needs to lose weight and have a couple of impressive performances against top contenders before he will be taken seriously again. I have a feeling that he will get an instant Klitschko fight after his comeback though, only because of the lack of willing challengers in the division.

Ok, so you talk ****, I talk back and then you say back exactly what you said was weak of me and called what i said a threat. No, a threat is saying "look mother****er, I'm going to knock your a55 out". What I said was based on my belief that you could not beat me in a boxing ring. I didn't threaten you and anything I start saying on here is retaliation.

I enjoy MMA time to time but it will always be boxing's little b*stard child.

I'm not sure about the Latino's in TX, AZ, NV, as I'm usually in Colorado and New Mexico.

I'm just hoping that guys like David Price, Malik Scott, Mike Perez, Deontay Wilder, Bryant Jennings, Denis Boytsov, and Kubrat Pulev pan out eventually.

Seth Mitchell isn't fat, but I feel he's getting way way way overhyped to be the Next Great American HW, and he's not. Tyson Fury is another out of shape HW that I hope gets his a$$ kicked. I was surprised when Chisora lost to him, I don't mind Chisora too much after he CLEARLY beat Helenius and put up a good fight with Vitali. I thought Vitali beat him 8-4/9-3, but Chisora did far better than expected. Luis Ortiz is another young HW hopeful who's out of shape.

Watch out for that young British amateur, Anthony Joshua. The brits are saying he can go as far as Lennox, no joke.
Pretty solid post, although I refuse to by into the Joshua-Lewis comparisons. That is some hypejob shit if there ever was some, which is far and away no knock on Joshua, the Brits are doing him a great disservice to compare him to an ATG top 10 HW (according to a lot of people) at this stage in his young boxing career (the guy is impressive as hell though at this stage, though he's still very green).

I was Wilder supporter, but I refuse to give the guy the time of day fighting so many bums and not stepping up. I know he's a young guy with very limited experience, but first round KOs over a continuous string of bum-of-the-weeks doesn't help to advance the career of an Olympic medalist.

I agree most certainly with your opinion that out of shape heavyweights are a cancer on the sport, and like your appraisal overall. Pryce is one guy I'm looking forward to seeing more of (as with all the others--I'm a bit partial to heavyweights for whichever reason).

But FYI, fights aren't scored by compubox.

My comments are based on, you know, watching the fight and judging the action.

(And I have no way of knowing whether Vitali was ahead on compubox or not, I certainly don't simply take your word for it--just for the record).
Ok, so why post this like you know something?

It's just 1 round, you can never take anything conclusive from a single round in a 12 round fight, let alone a first round. It did look to me though as though Vitali's style of keeping his hands low wasn't working against Solis in the early going.
You said he was outlanding Vitali, which didn't happen and in fact has never happened at a VK fights conclusion. I was just setting the record straight.

Oh, and I watched the whole 2.8 mins of the fight several times and Solis landed nothing of consequence at all. He just wasn't winning the round either way in my opinion. I can accept you thinking he was holding his own but it was probably just based on your expectations of him.

Lastly, this whole discussion is moot because in actuality it's only went on because of people grasping at any straw they can find to derate Vitali's accomplishments. Which is what haters do. Haters gotta hate and the Klitschko's will keep winning. Long after they are done, they will be appreciated more. Much like Lennox is now.

Not to get caught up in semantics, but I said I have I feeling I would, whereas you said you would straight up. I have confidence and don't back down to anyone, and I think you might just be all talk. But I won't disrespect you because I don't know you, not to mention that web beef is about the most ******ed thing that anyone could ever engage in. I didn't talk any shit though I was just making my points.

And MMA isn't half the sport boxing is and never will be. MMA peaked during the Pride era though, at which time it was pretty fucking incredible (although it wasn't then and still is not organized like a true sport as is boxing, and likely never will be).

That's cool but I like the guy. I'm white from Tx. He has skills and big heart. If he dedicated himself more, he could be part of the future when Wlad and Vitali are done. That's all I'm saying. A lot of people forget that a fat old Foreman was able to win and defend a world championship in the 90's and this division isn't too different except the Klitschko's step on the top guys before they get a name for themselves. That's what great champions should do.

I'm guessing the answer is no as you would've probably bragged about that too (I did fight in sanctioned amateur boxing on the West Coast in college for what it's worth, which isn't much). Keep slobbering on those Klitschko nuts. .

I think I already explained why I posted that "like I know something." Why not respond to the rest of my posts instead of just "grasping at straws" yourself?

Yes it was a close round.

And the punch I referred to was at 3:30:

It wasn't that much, but was probably the best punch of the round.

I don't (and never have had) a probably with people favoring Vitali in the round, but I did think Solis was getting the better of him while it lasted (I also think that Vitali was just getting started and that the fight most likely would have gone Vitali's way had it gone on--he is the proven champion and it isn't as though he was by any stretch being outclassed or anything of the sort).

Also, go to 5:25 of the same video while you're at it. Solis is going backward and suddenly just collapses, you know kind of like someone who's rear knee gives out.

That's not really talking shit, more like injecting some irony to make a point (after you told me I don't know anything about boxing and tried to act like an authority or something because you say you've watched boxing for a bit and you've sparred before).

The 90s was still better. And Moorer was putting in work on old George until that punch of course.

The 90's had a past prime-still good Tyson, Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield, Moorer, at the top.

The top HW's in the 00's were a past prime Lennox early on, Vitali, Wlad, Byrd, and probably Haye.

The best wins on either Klitschko resume are probably still Chris Byrd and David Haye. They've been dominant, can't fault them too much for their era.
