I don't expect you to know much about boxing anyways so I don't put too much stock in you saying my post was a joke.

Edit: This is coming from a person who has sparred many, many times and has been following the sport for 20+ years of my 32 year old life. Just for the record.
Wow, you've watched boxing for a long time? Imagine that on a boxing forum. And you say you've spared before? Have you ever hit a speedbag too? How about actually stepped in the ring (in a sanctioned fight)? I'm guessing the answer is no as you would've probably bragged about that too (I did fight in sanctioned amateur boxing on the West Coast in college for what it's worth, which isn't much). Keep slobbering on those Klitschko nuts. (Nothing wrong with the Klitschkos they're very good, but you are as biased as can be).

And you are also delusional as can be, Solis was never hurt by a punch.

The result of that fight was correct. It was clear to see, as I've watched 50 or so times back when it happened trying to figure it out. I too was shocked it ended like that at first but after reviewing it, it's clear to see that he went wobbly & limp from the punch.

Sometimes I wish the fight had gone on so that there would have been no question to who was in control. I just don't get how people think Solis was leading the round when he barely even hit Vitali and got staggered with the first clean shot Vitali landed.

Sometimes we judge a performance as being good based solely on expectations and this clearly is one of those times.

Solis was outclassed and Ray Charles could see that.
Solis was outlanding Klitschko with the left hands and he landed the only meaningful shot (a right which visibly got Vitali's attention) during the round prior to the incident/injury. Watch the fight again if you need to (it's posted in this thread of course).

It's just 1 round, you can never take anything conclusive from a single round in a 12 round fight, let alone a first round. It did look to me though as though Vitali's style of keeping his hands low wasn't working against Solis in the early going.

That doesn't mean that Solis was necessarily going to keep it up for the whole fight and beat Vitali. But it does mean that he looked good in there for a few minutes...why is it so hard for you to just admit it?
Admit what? I sincerely don't think Solis was winning, was going to win the round or was ever going to win the fight. Why is so hard to admit that he got knocked into next week? He couldn't reach his feet and continue in ten because he was ****ed up. That's clear. If it was just a destroyed knee, etc, why was he walking around the ring fine after he came to his senses? This isn't rocket science.

It's cool, say what you like but I would whip your a55 in a ring. And the bolded part was only written because you have no common sense. Forget boxing, go to MMA.

Do you care to see the punch stats? They were far in Klitschko's favor. I understand it's casual to be excited that Solis did better than expected, but he got outlanded and knocked out in the first rd. There's no defense for that, I don't know how you guys try this. The Klitschko's must really irk you.

P.S. The Ko punch was the one that mattered.

It takes a true hard ass to threaten people on the internet they know nothing about and will never meet. Bravo sir.

But I have a feeling I could choke you until you shit your pants or knock you the fuck out (depending on which way the wind is blowing).

Post the post stats than to augment your point.

But FYI, fights aren't scored by compubox.

My comments are based on, you know, watching the fight and judging the action.

(And I have no way of knowing whether Vitali was ahead on compubox or not, I certainly don't simply take your word for it--just for the record).

F**k Chris Arreola. Even the Mexicans and Chicano's in CO and NM say he's a fat f**k and pure s**t. I f**king hate Arreola. I'm sure the Chicanos and Mexicans like him in CA because he's from there, but in my part of the Southwest, The Latino's can't f**king stand him. I'm not sure about the Latino's in TX, AZ, NV, as I'm usually in Colorado and New Mexico.

I'm just hoping that guys like David Price, Malik Scott, Mike Perez, Deontay Wilder, Bryant Jennings, Denis Boytsov, and Kubrat Pulev pan out eventually.

Seth Mitchell isn't fat, but I feel he's getting way way way overhyped to be the Next Great American HW, and he's not. Tyson Fury is another out of shape HW that I hope gets his a$$ kicked. I was surprised when Chisora lost to him, I don't mind Chisora too much after he CLEARLY beat Helenius and put up a good fight with Vitali. I thought Vitali beat him 8-4/9-3, but Chisora did far better than expected. Luis Ortiz is another young HW hopeful who's out of shape.

Watch out for that young British amateur, Anthony Joshua. The brits are saying he can go as far as Lennox, no joke.
