Had Molina not held onto Kirkland 16 times in the 10th, he could have stopped him there I think. He was hurt the first 1:30-2:00 of that round big time and would just lay on Kirkland and grab him, and than tried to grab the ropes while laying on him. What Kirkland did around 2:20 in that round, when Molina tried to hold him again and then he pushed Molina off of him and kicked his a$$, he should have done that the whole fight.

Kirkland very well may have stopped him, but we'll never know. Molina would have had a full minute to rest and probably would have tripled the number of clinches and holding the final two rounds. A big difference is that Kirkland's stmina was still great in the 10th, where as Molina's wasn't quite up there. I had Molina up 88-83 going into the 10 rounds, 7-2 in rounds. So, after the KD in the 10th, Kirkland would have been down 96-93 with two rounds to go. He would have to score KD's to win or knock him out on my card. Who knows???

In rounds 5 and 6, Kirkland won those and opened up more. Than, he stopped from rounds 7-9 basically, don't know why.

If they rematch, James just needs to do what he did in the 10th.

my question is i've seen kirkland fight plenty of times before but where was his speed?? he looked realitvley(typo) slow in this fight -_- not sayin his best wepon is his speed but he looked faster before from what i've seen,,,

molina was more accurate throughout the fight,,but his best punches were nothing in terms of power to kirklands,,, you notice before the stoppage molina was busted up bleedin from the nose and mouth,, 2 rounds would have been plenty for kirkland to get the KO,,

would you want to see a rematch??? me personally not till kirkland gets another win or 2,,, cause if it happens right away i got Molina UD the next time
