If you have clinching as part of your game plan going in to a fight, you do NOT deserve to win.

Continuous clinching needs to be outlawed, banned, and penalized in ANY fight, no matter the fighters.

at what point do you change things up and come up with a way to get this guy off of you...Ricky Hatton basically WRESTLED MAYWEATHER for 5-7 Rounds but he figured out a way to back Hatton up and make him reluctant to clinch and he did it with BODY SHOTS! Kirkland wasn't pushing back or anything and he kept bringing his hands down

no question the Clinches was excessive...BUT...Fighters can't just sit back and wait for the Ref to do something...at some point you have to take matters into your own hands but instead Kirkland just waited for the Ref to break them and would completely put his guard down

Now I see why Mayweather keep that damn Forearm/Elbow Up, so when people go for a clinch against him they walk right into a damn Elbow/Forearm...a lot fighters today are just not that...CLEVER! And I also don't blame Dawson for SLAMMING B-Hop now because B-Hop jumped on his back and was trying to clinch him

I don't just blame Ward, B-Hop, Molina and Alexander and guys like that, I think the Lack of Fundamentals overall in boxing might be a issue, guys just know how to throw punches but NOTHING ELSE!
