recently Lennox Lewis has hit out at the current reigning Heavyweight Champions Vitali & Wlad Klitschko claiming they are responsible for ruining Heavyweight Boxing. Yet it was Lennox Lewis himself who solely destroyed Heavyweight Boxing. Lewis refused to fight any of the top Heavyweights of the 1990s many of who was at the "Top of their Game" and instead fought a long list of sub-standard Class C fighters. Lewis refused to fight Rid**** Bowe in 93 & 95, Tyson 96, Witherspoon, Holmes 93, Foreman, Moorer, Hide 95/96, Sanders 97,Wlad Klitschko 99, all who held versions of the Heavyweight Title. instead Lewis chose to fight unknowns like Butler, Jackson, Fortune, Mavrovich, Rahman, Akinwande and has-beens Tucker, Morrison, Bruno & Holyfield. Lennox Lewis was stripped of all versions of the Undisputed Heavyweight Title for refusing to fight the No1 contenders, John Ruiz (WBA) Chris Byrd (IBF) Vitali Klitschko (WBC) and Lewis finally brought the sport down to its lowest ever position by offering former All Time Great Mike Tyson $30 Million to fight knowing fine well Tyson was years past his best and a shell of the once feared Champion. Yet Lewis needed the ring cordened off by 30 Police Officers during the introductions so that Tyson could not eye-ball him and give him diarrhea.. Lewis is claiming Wlad & Vitali are ruining the division yet Lewis promised the entire Boxing world he would face Vitali in a much awaited rematch, yet he dragged out his title reign for another 9 months reneging on his promise and retired 3 days before he was to be stripped of his last remain championship belt. Both Wlad & Vitali are not responsible for the demise of the Heavyweight division, it was destroyed by Lewis during the 1990s.

You'r lies and propaganda have been refuted more time than I care to count. Bowe dumped his title to avoid Lewis: FACT! Bowe tried to Lowball Lewis with a 90/10 split when he himself got 25 after he had verbally agreed to fight the winner of Lewis-Ruddock; FACT! In 1996 Tyson paid Lewis step aside Money so he could fight Holyfield: FACT!Comment

Surely it's neither of their faults and more contenders and division as a whole which has gone down hill, the Klitschko's are doing everything right, staying in greats shape, are both very skilled, it's the opponents who aren't staying in shape or bringing much too the table that are ruining it.

no need for me to post any links or twisted facts, boxing fans who have followed the sport closely for many years and in particular during the period 1990-2004 will know the facts and truth about Lewis v Bowe 93 & 95. but what i like about my post is that i stated over 30 facts in it of how Lennox Lewis is solely responsible for destroying Heavyweight Boxing with his ducking of all the top fighters who was "At The Top of their Game" and him being stripped of all belts, yet all 30 facts you are unable to address and you choose to trumpet the old line that Bowe avoided Lewis Ha Ha Ha... the reason you could not address all i have quoted about the career of Lennox Lewis is because you know that what i have quoted is 100% Correct.
You cannot say Lewis was not stripped of every belt and you cannot say Lewis did not avoided all the top fighters during the 1990s who held versions of the Heavyweight Title, you cannot say that Lewis did not fight a bunch of fighters who even the Klitschko's opponents would have little trouble in beating. Maybe you should try doing a little research into Bowe v Lewis in 93 & 95 before you make a bigger fool of yourself that what you already are, but dont try to imply that i tell lies or twisted facts otherwise your credibilty on the knowledge of this sport will end up in tatters.Comment
