How is it stiff in comparison? Most of those guys didn't even win a world championship either. They're just names to be hyped up as something because someone you people like beat them. I'm just giving everyone the same treatment and not being biased at all. I just don't understand what makes Lewis sooooo damn great and Vitali/Wlad can't be to your minds considering Lewis resume is nothing special.

What would the point of whom bothering? And who would they be bothering? Could they do it without being arrested? I don't know what you're talking about.

All I did was answer the comment that the emerging prospects have to come up against the klitschko's before they are properly ready. I merely said that they don't need to, and that Povetkin didn't. Today he's a title holder. And still hasn't fought either of them.

So what exactly do you mean. I'm not being sarcastic. (regardless of your meaningless highlighting of my comment about Klitschko's eyelid. You should look up the dr's reasons for having the fight stopped and you'll see it was because of his mistaken opinion of K's eyelid) Just curious.

What does that say for the joke who got TK06'd by the joke??
I certainly am serious, although often I'm just kidding. He very badly gave himself away and showed his true colours in the interviews both just before and immediately after the fight, when Larry Merchant held his feet to the fire. It was disappointing to me I recall at the time for the Heavyweight hampion to be a dog in the manger, and have to be literally forced, on open TV, to give a brave opponent even a little credit.

Why should anyone be banned for such a little thing as calling someone a moron. The whole site is full of morons and they accuse each other regularly.

After 16 years of endless b*tching from Vitali about unlucky injuries it makes me respect Calzaghe, Marciano and even Mayweather a whole lot more.

Great fighters overcome bad injuries and win fights. When Marciano got cut, he transformed into GOD mode and knocked his opponent out. Vitali instead gets progressively weaker and gets hit by slow moving uppercuts and hooks.

Marciano earned the KO record, and did it without steroids or putting up a b1tchfit. I hope he keeps it forever.

It's really not a subject for rhetorical questions. The facts are provable, and all have been published with direct quotes. That you refuse to recognise them is just your choice.

"When I went into the ring (after the sixth round) and asked him to look at me, when he looked up at me, his upper eyelid covered his field of vision,'' Wallace said. ``If he had to move his head to see me, there was no way he would have been able to defend himself and avoid a punch."

The doctor didn't have a mistaken opinion as the picture quite clearly shows.

Gave Lewis a beating? he was ahead on points but the one who took the beating was the person with 4 or 5 cuts that needed over 60 stitches.
Let's be factual here. Klitschko had 3 cuts, one on his eyebrow, and two below his eye, very minor, like paper cuts. I would not think he needed 60 stitches. His eyebrow was completely inviible after 10 days. He appeared on TV to give an interview showing that it was not visible.

Sorry about the Bostice/Boswell mixup. I always get them mixed. I didn't know how many fights Klitschko had, and 32 -1 sounds quite enough, except that all but 8-10 (as I remember it) were not even 10 rounders, and all except one were KO's or stoppages, many very early. He really had not fought rounds enough to give him the experience he needed at the right level to fight a dominant World Champion. This latter of course is my opinion, but well based on facts. You think differently, your privilege.

I didn't say he was taking it easy in training.

Lewis said. "I wouldn't even consider them for my sparring partners" hello!

Man, what happened to the HW division .... there used to be so many good fights in that division .... now they need to get a 40 year old cruiser-weight who had even retired for a while ... sad state of affairs.

While understandable (being brothers) .... to make things worse, #1 and #2 will not fight each other .... so at best, you get #1 vs #3

The doctor didn't have a mistaken opinion as the picture quite clearly shows.
You're dreaming. You're not seeing the picture that you yourself have posted. His eye is wide open. His eyelid is working.

The main point you've made is that you amply back up my assertion as to the REAL reason that the doctor had the fight stopped that the vast majority of posters don't know, but which they could find, as you did. His mistaken opinion of the supposedly not working eyelid. If you play back the video (as I have) you will see that the corner was crowded, and they were shouting at Klitschko, probably in several languages, the noise was immense, the doctor was standing right over Klitschko, and the liklihood (only a speculation but a good one) was that Klitschko didn't even hear him. Because he had NO vision problems. When he realised to fight had been stopped do you recall how he jumped up and shouted "I can see, I can see very well...." and both eyes wide open blazing with anger..? It's a long time since I've seen the video, but I recall these scenes vividly.

The doctor didn't say the eyelid wasn't working he said it was covering his vision. The picture shows the eyelid drooping and covering his vision.
